My dad is safe there and comfortable. They're always doing the arts and crafts with them and they always have the exercise classes. Every time we ask management a question, they're really good to us. Maintenance helped when he moved in, and his room is always clean when we get there. The care givers really look out for him, and that's nice for us to know. I think it's a little expensive, but I understand why. They have a lot of staff to take care of my father. Everything has been fine, no issues at all for me.

This type of care is expensive regardless of where you go but the social aspect here is very good. The activities are probably the best part of him being there. They have a lot of things to do throughout the day and they have field trips. The activities director is very good and does a good job. Management has been fine. From what I have seen the food looks good and from what I have heard it is good. They give my dad two meal choices every day. Overall the building is clean, modern and a nice layout. The transportation seems fine and they have someone who chaperons the field trips. It seems like a good setup when they go out. The caregivers do a great job with the care. My dad tends to put four layers of clothing on. They reorganized his clothing and locked away the rest of his clothes. They personalize the care for each resident.

I think the place is really great. The staff are very attentive. Anything you ask them to help you with they do. They know everybody by name. I think they have a good variety and quality of food in the dining department. The housekeeping comes in and makes the bed. They do the laundry once a week. They are good at that. The care staff are very attentive. They check in the middle of the night on him to make sure everything is okay. I think that is impressive. They keep the community decorated nicely and it looks beautifully. I didn't see anything that needed to be improved upon at all during my visit.

I thought the food was good, the quality of the food was definitely better than where she was before, my mom liked it better and was eating better, she was eating well there. The building always looked good, it was nicely decorated, clean and smelled good when you walked in there. She did go out with the transportation services from time to time and that was pretty good. The care and the food was definitely better than a lot of the other places.

We’re very satisfied with the value there, I know they charge a little less than other communities because they basically have roommates. I am a good judge because my wife used to be a head nurse at another community. My mom has only been there since probably last May or April and we have absolutely no problems. None at all with anybody. She is very happy. The care staff is fine. My mother has had some problems a couple of times and the nurse was right here and notified me. The medicine is always on time. Mom only used the van there once on a group outing. I have seen the vehicles and they're maintained. She only goes to one activity and she enjoys that. I’ve seen what they have and it looks good. Service in the dining room is fine and to me the food is fine. They have variety, if she doesn’t want what’s on the menu she can have a hamburger or hot dog, whatever. The housekeepers are wonderful, the apartment, clothes, everything is done well. We had trouble putting up curtains, maintenance came up and gave us help right away. I have no complaints about everybody. I have already recommend it to a friend whose father is in the same position.

I go in at all different hours and everyone is always nice and kind to my parents. My dad just came out of the hospital the other day and I know the care staff is looking out for him, and while he in the hospital they kept my mother entertained so she wouldn’t be lonely. Dining is good. My parents really enjoy the food. My father is in seventh heaven because they have lots of fish. Activities there are good, my mother takes part in a lot of them. I know they're centered around things that provide a positive experience like exercise and they have people come in for live entrainment that sing and dance, she really likes that. Everyone seems to do a good job up in operations, the management is respectful and accessible. The building still looks brand new, so they are taking care of it. The head of maintenance is a really nice guy and he does a really good job. Housekeeping is excellent, it always looks very neat. I have the pace of mind knowing mom and dad are safe there, and we’re getting good value for our money.

I would definitely say you should check out All American to see if it fits your needs, or your parents’ needs. The location is awesome, it's nice to be right off the highway so it makes my drive nice and easy. Regarding the dining, I had a ham sandwich there which was really good. The fries are delicious. My dad has some teeth issues so they give him things he can eat, that time it was a tuna fish sandwich. When I am there, there is always some activity going on, lots of physical activities, singing, music, and another one with walking. Everyone in the care giver realm has been great, asking questions, trying to get my dad involved. I think my dad is not trying hard himself to make him happy, but everyone there is trying. We’re satisfied with the cleaning the apartment and everything, and laundry is pretty on-point. I think that in general the management is good. They are super easy to contact, my calls are answered by the second ring, I get transferred immediately, and if I leave a voicemail I get a call that day or the next and give me the information I need. It's definitely a great price point; he is safe, secure, and taken care of.
