All American Assisted Living at Wareham

My aunt has been a resident at All American for the past year, and in that time she has not made any complaints to me. The community is very well maintained, it's beautiful. We're satisfied with her apartment, and she's comfortable there and safe. She never complains about the caregivers there, they're very nice, they're walking her. They have activities in the community. I think she's pretty happy. So they're good, they have more activities. The food's okay and I'd say it's a good menu variety. The wait staff treats her good; they're very kind and friendly. She had trouble with her TV and the maintenance staff was very good, very helpful. The times I have been in there the management team has been great, and when I was there the housekeeping was also great. I am happy with it. I'd go there myself if I had to.

In regards to the move in, everything went very smoothly. The management is very accommodating. They are keeping everything clean and my brother has no complaints. The building is clean and inviting and the staff is friendly. He is getting his food, his laundry and he is getting his room cleaned and they are giving him his meds so I guess it is a good value.

Due to family circumstances we needed mom much closer and everything has been very good so far. She needed much more care than where she was. The dining and meals are absolutely fantastic and the caregivers are wonderful. I think the staff is very competent and there is enough of them. The management has been wonderful. They worked with us well and helped us figure out the best thing to do. The community itself looks wonderful. The staff, everybody, has been extremely helpful. Everything is wonderful.

If I was older, this would be the first place I'd go. I don't have a probelem with anything there; they're just awesome. The management staff are absolutely doing a good job. Whenever he needs anything, maintenance gets to it. The caregivers are so sweet and helpful. All of the employees are just awesome.

I think the value at All American Assisted Living at Wareham is good. It's very nice, has a beautiful setting and everything is new so it's a very good community. I love the layout of it because it's bigger and my mother has more room to walk around. It's also designed beautifully with the courtyard and they were instrumental with matching her roommate up because they knew they would get along great after they saw them complimenting each other. Management is very good, they're definitely approachable and whenever we have a concern, they address it right away. The staff has been very attentive to where if she is gone, they'll ask her what they want for dinner, but at this point they know her well enough that they already know, so the staff really takes care of her. The housekeeping is excellent. Being the 3rd place she has lived, I think it's the cleanest and whenever I go in, I never find any trash in there at all which is unbelievable. Regarding the maintenance staff, when she moved rooms we thought we'd have to help move her, but they moved everything and it was setup in like no time at all. I told them they hired one of the best people ever because I saw the same care staff from my mother's first community and this girl had eyes in the back of her head. She always made sure my mother made it to meals and was really awesome, so I am really happy. With her on the team, they're just so good and we're happy with the community so far.

We're happy with the accommodations, it works for my mother. My mom enjoys the activities and the nurses are good. When I've gone to the management staff, things got taken care of. Overall, it has been positive.

I chose the community for my mom becuase Meredith was upfront and honest. She was phenomenal and made me feel at home. No one was in their room, they were all encouraged to be out and doing something. I really had a warm and welcoming feeling at Wareham. The building is brand new and the landscaping is gorgeous. My mom likes sitting outside on the porch with her friends or reading a book. The dining room is very clean, organized, and proficient. The food was fine. The managment team are very attentive. Anytime I have called or emailed they have responded. They have been beyond knowledgeable and helpful. They are always nice to my mom and any other resident they pass in the hall.

My mom's 94 and needed more care, and the community looks great. It had been recommended to us by a neighbor whose mother has Alzheimer's. She had gotten thin and frail, then I saw her a few months later after she moved into All American and she looked so much better. We went and toured it, and she's a social person so we were hoping it was the answer. I think the activities are fine. I know there are classes, a social hour, always music playing, and they have all kinds of activities for conversation. Mom is a person who likes to get out. She has gone out on the bus; they offer little scenic rides around the cranberry bogs. It's really pretty in the fall, the cranberries are amazing. They not only offer those outings, they go to stores several times a week, and they'll take you to a doctor's appointment or to get your hair done if you don’t want to use the hairdresser there. I know the community has physical therapy for everyone in there. Mom wants the strength and balance therapy. The caregivers are really professional. I have extensive experience in that field and I thought they were wonderful. Every resident wears a button they can push, and I think the nurses, aides, and Med Techs are pretty responsive and certainly very friendly on the hallways. The food tastes good to me. They offer a large meal and small meal for both lunch and dinner, so if someone is used to the main meal at lunch or at dinner, everybody is obliged. The chef there, and the staff in the cafeteria, she had a stroke years ago and has problems with communication and decision making; they have been very, very obliging. The sales team and managers answer phone calls quickly, and they tend to things quickly when you're deciding issues. They were very welcoming and are very accommodating. We got the summer schedule and for a year have a reduced rent, and my mom is very comfortable and safe at All American.
