I don't think any other community could do better!
I looked at 12 communities in Rhode Island for my mother, and worked with A Place for Mom. What made the choice was Joanne and Eric, in management, had a big part to do with it. They were involved and bent over backwards, and also the building, the programs, and the availability of Memory Care. The managers go out of their way to say hi. Eric and Joanne are approachable, the entire staff is. They're really genuine. I'm very happy with what I see from the care giving staff. It's only about two months in, but what we see so far, very happy with. The care staff is accessible, and when they call me, the first thing they say is to reassure me that mom's okay, and that's great, it's really important. Very happy with the activities and the outings they do. The Activities Director, I think her name is Heather, she is very approachable. The activities are another reason we selected the community. Kudos to Michael in maintenance, he really helped move my mother in. I am impressed with the way the building and grounds look. The community does a nice job decorating inside and out. I'm really thrilled to see my mom's laundry is being done. Her apartment is always neat and clean and I always see her bed made. We are very happy with the overall value. With what my mother is getting, knowing she is content and getting involved, we're very happy. I don’t think another community could do better.
