As far as I know, the management seems to be going pretty well for my mom there. The staff seems to be pretty caring, I've never had issues with any of the staff there. For the most part the care from the caregivers has also been really pretty good. Mom's apartment is fine for her need, she's comfortable, she is safe, and the value is pretty good.
I toured a couple places and got the best feel from Arbor Palms, so moved my father in. According to my dad the food is fair, he has no complaints with housekeeping, and I'm very happy with the activities they offer there. The building looks nice, management knows what they're doing, and the care staff has been pretty great. I feel there is a great, supportive staff, they have lots of activities offered, and the staff checks on my father regularly.
We chose to move my dad into the community because we got a good feeling on the visit from the staff and the cleanliness of the community. Everybody has been very nice and personable. My dad seems to be pretty pleased with the food and has commented on it a couple times. I like they have a resident food council. I have seen a calendar of activities and seen people participating in the activities. The housekeeping seems to be fine and the facility seems to be pretty good working order. I haven't seen anything indifferent.
