Arbour Square at West Chester

I've looked at other places and Arbour Square is totally above some of the other places I've looked at. The management staff are very responsive and the facility is always clean and seems well managed. I think the activities are very nice and they have a wide range of activities. The common areas are all kept clean. I don't notice things being broken. If something happens they get to it quickly. The landscaping is nice and pretty and they do a good job of keeping up the outside maintenance. I think the caregivers do a great job. They are delightful, sweet and are responsive when you ask for something.

I'd say they're all the same and it's a good value. I just ate there myself and the food was good. There were a few times when my dad has needed help with some things and maintenance helped right away. My parents are very happy there which makes us happy.

Management are really great people and they're very accomodating. The food is really good and you have some say if you'd like something different. Michelle, the waitress, is super. They always have activities going on so you can associate with other people. The housekeeping is super as well. They have a bus and they take us to Church on Sundays. If you have a doctor's appointment they'll take you there as well. Helen and Michelle are very accomodating. Maintenance will hang your pictures, they're great. On a whole, I'm very pleased living at Arbour Square.

I think the value is actually quite good. There is plenty of help available and the staff are vigilent. They are there to help the residents if they need it so I think the safety is quite good. The residents seem to enjoy the activities and I think that the movies at night are very good. The cleaning and maintenance are quite good. Maintenance helped me assemble some furniture and hang some shelves. They did a very good job.

We moved from somewhere that wasn't meeting our expectations of care. We asked a lot of detailed questions as informed consumers having been some place where we felt let down prior and we got the right answers, the community was close to us and it's incredibly nice. I couldn't say anything but the best at this point, we've dealt with quite a few management folks and have nothing but good things to say. Housekeeping seems to be timely and keeping on a schedule. The healthcare staff is all very friendly, outgoing, and they don't seem to be bothered by having a very difficult job in a very difficult environment, everyone we have experienced seems to have a very positive attitude.

When we toured the community, mom seemed to think it suited her best, you could see there was an emotional response, the level of services and the way it's set up with the movie theater and other things. She got a room right there on the runway so that's why she picked it. The management team is doing a great job and are doing the best that they can.

We chose this community for my father-in-law becuase it is close. I think this is a lovely place and so far it is a very good place for my father-in-law. So far the transportation has been wonderful and he seems very comfortable here. Management is very friendly, very thorough and very accommodating. The food is good and appropriate.
