Bella Terra

I am satisfied with the value my husband and I receive at Bella Terra. We moved last August from across the hall to another room and now we have a balcony and things are laid out better, so we feel much more comfortable. Management has been respectful, knowledgeable and accessible, so they're doing what they're supposed to do. Regarding dining, the food is good, the coffee is good and the service is generally good as well. In terms of activities, there is definitely a lot offered at the community. There are things other residents love to do like going shopping or playing Bingo, with movies every day, so there are plenty of things to do. I have also been satisfied with the cleanliness and maintenance services at the community. We have someone in housekeeping who is very competent and takes care of apartment every week, along with taking and bring back our laundry, and whenever we ask for someone from maintenance to come, they do. Whether it's personal or something that needs to be done in the apartment, like the sink, they will come to you right away. The drivers from transportation services have also been great and in terms of care, the healthcare staff is accessible and responsive to our needs. They looked at my husband's thumb yesterday, since it was hurting, but the Nurse was wonderful and gave him something to put on it, so it's been a great experience for us at the community.

My experience with the managers there has been very good. My dad's been in a rehab and they have called to check on him and we've discussed how to go forward. He loves the staff in the dining room, the servers are fantastic. We’re satisfied with the activities, there’s stuff for him to do. I know the driver is always very helpful and they do well with the trips. The staff, they're all very nice and supportive, and they make him feel welcome and at home. That's really appreciated. The value is fair. He's fed twice a day, has things to do, and considering how expensive the state is, the price is fair.

The activities are good. They have people that come and play the piano and they have arts and crafts. Every day they have something going. The housekeeping will come and vacuum and take care of my mothe in laws laundry. The maintenace staff are pretty good. Whenever I call them about something they come and fix it.

My dad has been living there for a year and he’s happy with the food, says there is plenty of variety on the menu. Dad took the community bus once to the doctor; it went well with no issues. The front of house management team is really good; they answer my questions and call me back. Maintenance took care of our only issue right away. I am happy with what the care givers do. The nurse calls if anything is wrong and the aides seem on top of things, and the physical therapist there, he goes above and beyond and is very nice. The value is fair and my dad’s safe and comfortable there.

Overall I am pretty pleased with the cost. I really like the apartment that I got for my aunt. It is nice. Every time I have eaten there it has been excellent. I think they have a lot of activities available. I think the overall cleanliness of her apartment is fine. When I go and check her laundry it seems to be okay. I will look in her drawers and they seem to be full. I am pleased with the care staff. They come and get her for lunch. They wake her up in the morning and give her her pills. I go see her and she is healthy and aware.

You get your bang for your buck because comparing to other places the rooms are much more spacious and it is much more cheaper than other assisted livings out there. You are getting a lot for what you are paying. I love my mom's apartment and that is why she is there. In regards to the management, anytime I have a question they will give me an answer. If they don’t have the answer they will get it to me immediately or within 24 hours. We are greeted anytime we walk in with my mother. They always say hello. My mother is very happy with the activities. She enjoys the bingo. She does do the Country Kitchen. A person comes in that does a travel club and they have meals that go with that. Every time I come everything looks clean. My mother gets housekeeping once a week.

In the almost two years my parents have been there I have been very happy with their apartment. I think the staff are pretty responsive all the way around from nursing to the Director. I think housekeeping is pretty good. The laundry services, when they allow them to do that it is good. Maintenance is pretty good as well. In terms of transportation, I think they are amazing. My dad has had some urgent things come up and they made room on the shuttle. I think they go above and beyond. They help and assit them on and off the bus and to the door. I think they are fantastic. Regarding healthcare, I think the nursing staff is incredible. They go above and beyond. They help him with his every day tasks and they can be atypical. They really work with the doctor's office to make sure he gets what he needs, weight, blood pressure. I can communicate very easily with the Director, she is very responsive. The aides, I have no complaints about them.

I am satisfied with the price, services and accommodations that my mother is receiving at Bella Terra. I can say she absolutely safe and comfortable living at the community. There is a little bit of everything offered activity wise and my mother has enjoyed them on a weekly basis. Management is respectful, knowledgeable, and responsive and the dining service is good. She likes the person who cleans her house because they do a good job and her clothes all come back washed, so housekeeping has been good. Overall the building is nice, nicely decorated and I am satisfied with consistency of service provided with maintenance. The transportation services have been fine, the condition of the vehicle and flexibility of its service has been satisfactory to her needs. Overall, she has adjusted very well and is very happy at the community. She has made friends and she is being social, so it's been only good things.

I really liked the community overall and so did mom, the buildings, the grounds, the activities. I think management is great, they're very helpful. Maintenance is wonderful, they come right away and are very good. I think everything is going wonderfully, we're very pleased.

Everyone I've interacted with there has been lovely, from day one, Crystal and Karen have been great, they still check in on my mom. Everyone that we interact with at the front desk have been terrific, they've been very communicative, I immediately get a phone call if my mom has an issue. I've been very pleased, that's been the best part of the whole experience is the people who work there. The people that are working there really care to be there and care about the people there and know the people there, so when you have that, I really feel like my mom is in a good place, I feel comfortable with her being there, and I appreciate those relationships that it's not just a job. They had a husband and wife that came in and performed and they were terrific and interacted nicely with all the people there. The housekeeping staff is terrific and maintenance responds immediately, five or ten minutes later someone comes to knock at your door to look at it, overall I've been very, very pleased with the whole situation.
