Bella Vista

I primarily worked with Julie and she did an excellent job. She worked hard in helping us facilitate a move. It is very good for institutional food. You get choices for what you want. My sister-in-law has been very happy with it. The entire community is incredibly clean. Chuck in maintenance went out of his way to help us. Everything is well maintained. When she first moved in there were people coming in to check on her every day. We are very happy that we found this community because it is the type of place we were hoping for her to live in. It should meet her needs over the years to come.

Price is what mainly made it stand out for us when choosing a place. My mom wanted to stay in this region which was another factor. The environment was very nice, very friendly. Maintenance was great and came when we needed a cut out done in my mom's room. He was very efficient. He answered questions for us when he was done; very knowledgeable and very helpful. The hallways are clean and things like that. The food is excellent. I love their variety. The speed is phenomenal, they take your order and it's there within a couple minutes. They have a friendly staff. I shared a meal twice when I visited. Mom enjoys it, the portions are nice. She can take leftovers for later on. Everyone I talked to is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions.

The Director comes around at lunchtime and says hi to everyone, which is really nice. The Sales Manager is really good, the most dedicated and friendliest, and comes to visit my parents in their room. The Sales Manager even after we moved in is still really god at following up with my parents. They do like the food. My parents really like the choices, and there's always plenty to eat. The service is always quick, good, and efficient. All the servers know the resident's names, remember what they like to drink and bring them out as they're sitting down. If they've needed them, the care staff is very patient and caring.

I think the value is okay. Despite any concerns, it has been a good place and I would recommend it.

My father seems pleased. The food in the dining room seems to be good. My father seems very happy with housekeeping. They seem to keep his apartment clean and be more than happy to do it. He is always commenting positively about the woman who does his cleaning. The outside always looks nice. It's an attractive old facility that's been here for about 100 years. It's old but well kept. He has minimum need for care, but apparently the people who have helped him out when he's needed it have done a good job.

I have been satisfied with how the management department is. The food is good and the service has been good. My apartment is clean and neat. I am pleased with it. The housekeeping people come when they need to. The laundry is going fine. I am very pleased here.

I have been satisfied with the community. I think they do a good job of having the activities. Maintenance has taken care of everything she's asked. The place itself overall is in good repair and the care staff seem to be doing alright. I have no concerns.

Everyone has been real solid. They have been responsive to inquiries and needs. My mom and my dad both enjoyed the dining experience and the food is excellent. The wait staff is very personable and interacts with the residents well. My parents moved rooms a couple of times and Jason, in maintenance, has always been very prompt and responsible. I think overall, the community is in good hands.

My dad tells me all the time how safe he feels there which makes me feel good about his safety. They had a meet the leadership dinner awhile back and I got to talk to a couple different people. I liked that. My dad thinks the food is very good. Housekeeping is pretty good. The facility seems to be pretty well kept. For the most part the caretakers are able to accommodate him and help him wherever they can. He is getting a good value there.

Anytime we've had any kind of issue come up I've received only positive feedback from the management team. They work very hard to resolve anything that would occur. For the most part there haven't been any problems, but when something did come up they've been very responsive. My dad is very active; you don’t catch him in his room very often. He does a lot of activities. They come in and take care of the housekeeping. They come in once a week to launder towels and sheets, and they always do a very nice job. The grounds keeping always looks wonderful. It's very nice for the residents to have such pleasant surroundings. The nurses always stay in contact with you if they notice anything different with the resident, they have been fabulous. The staff there is just extraordinary. It's been a godsend ever since we found them. I recommend Bella Vista all of the time. It is a wonderful, wonderful value.
