Caldwell House

I have always been pretty happy. If I have a question, they have a nurse call me back. There is always someone to answer the phone right away. He is safe and comfortable. I would say for the value we are getting and the care it is worth the money. He is very happy with his apartment. If something is going on with my dad management calls me right away. When I speak with him about dining, he says he does like his food. He always says there are different things. He enjoys eating and likes his three meals. I think they do a good job with housekeeping. Anytime he has needed maintenance they have been right there. I like the courtyard they have where he can go outside.

The apartment is a good size for her. They have a new chef and he has been doing a really good job. They seem to always be doing something in activities. The girl that runs activities is really nice. The girl comes in a sweeps and cleans and mom helps out with the housekeeping also. When mom broke her arm a few weeks ago there was an aide that tended to her and stayed right by her side. I was really pleased. Anything I come up with management is willing to look into it. Overall, I think she is pretty happy with it.

Value is subjective and it's quite expensive living at Caldwell House compared to an apartment, but compared to the other communities in the area, it's reasonable. With the quality of the community, it's been an extremely good value for my needs. The healthcare staff is respectful and accessible, and while I don't need much assistance, I also haven't heard complaints from other residents. I am satisfied with the apartment cleaning, consistency of housekeeping and with regards to activities, I enjoy participating in exercise classes. In terms of the dining experience, I think the food has been really good and everyone from the wait staff is nice to me. As for management, they're doing a good job overall, they're accessible for the most part and they have also helped me out of a few tight jams, so it's been a great experience for me and I would definitely tell people to come here.

Everything is fine and management is doing an excellent job. There are a lot of bigger facilities that have moved into the area and there are problems with that. I like the size of Caldwell House and I think it can be better managed that way. The healthcare team does a good job there. It's a hard job and they do their very best. Like a lot of old people, my parents really enjoy the ice cream. I've been out there numerous times when they're having meals and my dad says he really enjoys the food. The activities are varied and you can tell that they work at it and try to make things different for the people.
