Caley Ridge Assisted Living

I think the staff has been pretty good, they address anything I need. Maintenance address any issues, whatever needs to be fixed gets taken care of. I think the caretakers are pretty good. I think the activities are pretty good, I don't think she really participates but they're available. I'm generally satisfied with the services and accommodations.

They do have a policy that if my mother's policy runs out, they will accept Medicare payment. That adds value to me. That was the primary reason I selected it. I think the food is good. They certainly have a big variety. I think the caretakers are always cheerful, they respond pretty quickly, and they seem to do just about anything my mom needs done.

It seemed like a nicer facility than others that we looked at. The proximity to my house is close and it is very convenient. The nursing staff, the sales manager and financial manager has been very responsive. My sister seems to like it. I guess they play bingo a lot and card games and they have movies. It seems to be real clean. That is one of the reasons we chose this place.

My mother felt very comfortable and safe at the community, the care services in particular were very caring and very loving. I had great relationships with the management, they were awesome. There are always things for her to do and there were a lot of good activities. Although she did have to leave for increased care, I would recommend the community.

Right now the staff is amazing. It's at its top. The whole team is the best they ever had. Mike and Jacob, the nurses, they are amazing. Aida has done a wonderful job. She always interacts with them. Donna, in management, is running it really well. She's been the best that's ever been there. I would highly recommend the place.

It's a fair value. Management is great. The food is very good and the care staff is fine. We're a case management company and part of what we do is recommending facilities for people and we often recommend Caley Ridge.

We checked out several facilities in the Denver area and we chose Caley Ridge because it was the nicest place we found. Management has been very helpful and responsive, especially Debbie. She always seems to have time to help us with any problems, no matter how small. I've been very impressed with her attitude, helpfulness, and willingness to be there for us. There are certain caregivers that she's spoken highly of who have been considerate and thoughtful. My mom's spoken very highly about the activities. Especially the musical performers, she really enjoys those. She loves playing the piano, and she's had multiple opportunities to use it which has been great.

The people there, from the front desk to everything, always have a smile and make sure if we do take him out we sign him in and out and they are aware of that. The management staff has been very responsive to any of the requests or questions we've had. They call us if there's a problem with my father-in-law. He's gone to a few of the activities. He likes that he can get a haircut. They celebrated his birthday last month and had a thing for it, which was very kind. They have functions for Halloween and the major holidays and he enjoys them. They let us know when they're happening so he can have the family with him.
In addition, the housekeeping and maintenance crews have been very helpful. They have a button for him to push if he needs help. The nurses and caretakers check on him a bit more and he hasn't had any falling issues. They have doctors and nurses in the facility daily, and that is a huge plus. The full time nurses there are very good, they're excellent.

We have a new executive director and it sounds like she's permanent, that's working out better than it had been. I would say is has definitely been an improvement. They also got a new Dining Director. I think the food is better, the organization and service is better. The times I've been down there it's been great. Aida, in activities, is doing a great job; I think she's been the most consistent of everything going on over there. She tries to do what they want to do and keep things going, it sounds like a lot more people are participating and playing games and whatever she has planned. And she's asking them what they want to do and I think that's important. The nurses are the best, the two nurses they have right now are better than anyone they've ever had. If they see a concern they follow up right away and take care of it immediately.
