Carriage Court of Lancaster

He likes his place. He is still working on it to make it home. I like how he has a key to his room. That makes it feel more like an apartment. The management staff has been just wonderful with my Dad. They really interact with him like he is a part of the family there. The housekeeping is wonderful. Every time I go his room is very clean like they have just been to clean it. He has been in several different places and had some health issues. I have even had him to the hospital with some dizzy spells. No one had been able to pinpoint the reason but the staff there took the time to find out what was going on with him.

He is in the memory care unit and they are only one of three memory care units in town that we know of so we just went there first. Tasha and the people up front were very helpful and explained everything when we moved in. They gave us the stuff that we needed. As far as I know the food is very good. The activities are pretty good. They put them out together so that they can socialize. His room is pretty much spotless every time we go in there. The building is very nice and clean. They hung the pictures in a timely manner. So far from what we have seen the care has been very good. They are all very nice and very respectful. They have all been very helpful, very kind and considerate. It is a very good choice. He is getting a lot of good care and the price is a lot less then the other place he was before.
