Castle Pointe at Baywinde

I have a deluxe one bedroom apartment and it's satisfactory, I've adjusted to it. Housekeeping is very good. The place is very clean and the housekeeping staff is very helpful. They come in once a week to clean and change the sheets, they wash those and return them. The administrative teams are all very friendly and helpful, overall good. Maintenance helped put up curtains and pictures for me when I moved in, and any time I need them, they are there. It's very safe here.

In regards to the management, I think they were very good. I thought the food was great. They were very accommodating to her. I think working with seniors I think they have awesome activities. I thought the housekeepers did a great job and they are very friendly too. The mainatenance staff were excellent. They went above and beyond to help her.

We do feel very safe here and I haven't had any complaints about the management here either. We probably go on two or three activities a month with the group. We always found them very comfortable and pleasant and we give our activities director very high marks. We have had very good service from maintenance over the five years we have been there. We are up to speed and we are comfortable.

I'm satisfied and I’ve been very comfortable here for the past five years. I like it here, everything is excellent. All the activities I want to be in are good. Our Activities Director is great, she tries to keep us busy as much as she can. The housekeepers are very good. The ones I deal with do a very good job for the time they're allowed to be cleaning in here. They do my laundry and I asked them to use the soap I buy instead of theirs. There's only one man who does all the maintenance and he does a great job. He does more than his job, and he is excellent. If we have medical appointments, they provide transportation. They're good vehicles. We go grocery shopping on Monday. Suffice it to say, I love it here.

My mom has said more than once that she feels very safe there and very comfortable in her apartment. Management has been very cordial, polite and responsive to any questions that we've had. My mother loves the food, i's far better than where she was for the previous six years. She likes the portions, she feels the servers are very helpful and she likes the food. She loves the omelets on Wednesday mornings, that's a big deal. Everything is well maintained, Michael the maintenance guy, does a phenomenal job, he's always available and is very responsive. They're repainting the interior colors, it's very good. We're very pleased and hope she can live there for many more years.

I moved my parents into this community because of the friendliness of the staff and residents. The tour and subsequent visits were so warm and inviting. The move-in was seamless and it went as management said it would. Each time my parents have had to approach management for direction they've gotten friendly and helpful advice. Maintenance has been extremely responsive and my parents have a great relationship with the fella who comes. My parents actually rave about the food, it's pretty terrific. This facility allows you to come down during a range of hours, sit where you'd like, order off of a menu and have table service.

It is not perfect but it is pretty near. I very much so feel safe and comfortable. The activities are very well organized and very diversified. They are very appealing and well attended. The young lady that I have to clean is very capable and she does a wonderful job. I have no faults and I am pleased with what she does. The interior is very well maintained and very well kept up. On a whole I am a very satisfied community member.

Management is exceedingly friendly, they make you feel very welcome any time you see any of them and they're always ready to stop and answer a question. They never seem to be too busy to have time for somebody. They just make you feel important. Our experiences in the dining room have always been positive, the staff is outstanding, they're very friendly; it’s excellent. Housekeeping is great and the maintenance man, Michael, is outstanding. The whole month of activities is well planned and it's printed out so you can pick and choose and plan ahead, it's good. It's a nice plus that we can go down and they'll take our blood pressure for us a couple times a month and things like that. We love our villa and we like the option of participating or not participating in things, we're very happy here. The location feels very secure, we're tucked back into the woods overlooking the bay and it just has a very comfortable, secure feeling to it.

My sister chose it and I think it was because of the location, reputation and having a place available when they needed it. The overall building inside is very nice and well maintained. My parents liked it when they were there and there were some awesome people from their church that were at their location, so they were familiar with it. My parents have nothing but good things to say about the food. My father loves the idea that it's like a restaurant and he can pick off the menu, he's raved about everything from the turkey soup to the shrimp scampi. The maintenance man put the TV up on the wall and he was very polite, a really nice guy from what both of my parents said. He was very professional. They like the doctor, my mom was thrilled, she thinks he's just the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I like my apartment very much and I feel very comfortable in the community. The activities are very good and there are a lot of things to do. The housekeeping is very good. The girl comes and cleans my room every week. If I call maintenance and say something isn't working they will come within hours to fix. The bus services are very good. The drivers are very courteous and do what I ask them to.
