The Estate at Hyde Park

The management were extremely helpful. I had a lot of problems family wise involving my father's care and they did their very best, so it was very good. One of the reasons he stayed was because they served real food instead of canned crap. Everything about the place was good. Maria is pretty much in charge of laundry and it got the point where I could get her to watch my father's clothes more seriously and that was fantastic. The staff that took care of him as far as washing and grooming, were just absolutely wonderful ladies. I had to place dad in a special hospital bed, but maintenance made special accommodatoins with me in breaking down his bed and putting it in storage for me. Excellent guy, he was really great. I would say bring them here because they will get to know your relative, treat you with respect and make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

I chose this community for my wife becuase it was close by and the people were very nice and informative when we went there. The food looks wholesome. Maintenance has been very good and have been very helpful. The transportation department has taken her on outings and things like that. The Activities Department does a lot of fun things and they have a schedule for every month. Maintenance has been very good. Jordan helped me load a bed in my car which was very helpful. They have a very nice garden in the back as well.

The management seems to have everything under control at a place where everything is out of control. When I ask for advice from Mary, Jana and Linda in management I get prompt answers. She seems to be nutritionally okay. My mom eats the food that she is served so she must like it. The apartment is clean, which is good. They go on field trips and the activities brought in from outside are good.

This facility is by far the best anybody will find. They are by far the best facility available in the Tampa Bay area, the attentive care that my mother is receiving is exactly what you need. The management has an understanding of what a facility that cares for this type of patient needs to provide in terms of individualized care and they're implementing it really well. I know it's very labor intensive and there are two or three people there that really make extraordinary efforts to care for my mom. The service is great; the kitchen staff is pleasant and attentive. The food is good. The food is very good; her particular medical condition is such that I'm not sure she really enjoys food the way she used to. The food is good; I often visit her during meals and see what they serve. This facility is by far the best anybody will find.

We're very happy with the healthcare services. The housekeeping has been great. Her room is always clean and organized, it's all good. Both Mary and Carla have been great. The Director and Sales Director, both of them were excellent with helping us get everything taken care of. I would very highly recommend it.

It's a perfect fit, especially for Alzheimer's patients. I love that my mom is safe, secure, and well taken care of. I've seen more than my fair share of meals and they're always super impressive. They’ve been really awesome when she needs to bring a little bag lunch with her if we'll be gone during lunch time. They are super accommodating. We go to the events there, which I absolutely love. The residents are always busy and always engaged in activities. My mom loves the music and dancing. They’re always bringing people in. Housekeeping is great. I love that my mom is confined to the first floor and can walk around it safely. I'm happy with the doctors that come in, and the in-house General Practitioner is great. Truly, everything has been good.

The Director, Mary, I think she's awesome. Carla and the sales team, I really appreciate everything that they did. People are very nice and receptive. Very efficient, very approachable, very nice. I think there's a lot to do if you're a resident that’s interested. The nurses are very on top of things and very nice. The caregivers are also very nice. Overall, I think the value is very good.
