Fallbrook Glens Of West Hills

I got a card in the mail a few months ago. I kept the flyer with me and I went to see how it was. I thought it looked really good. So we moved in. Everything is very good. They are helping with everything. The food is very good. They have the best quality and the service is good. The housekeeping is very good. The laundry is good. They come and get the clothes and bring them back to me. In regards to the maintenance, whenever we need something they come very fast. He came and changed the shower head and he came very fast. Everything is perfect. The care is very good. They give him a shower twice a week. They change him and get him to bed. They come in the morning to change him and get him dressed. They are taking good care of us.

For what we're paying, my mother has a beautiful room at Fallbrook Glens of West Hills, she has a beautiful view and I just love it all there. Management is wonderful and I love the girls at the reception area because anything that needs to be done, they just get right up and do it, so it's wonderful. My mother has to eat soft foods and if I tell the kitchen that, they try to accompany her which is a good thing. She loves going to eat in the main dining room because they treat her like a little queen, so I try to do that with her once a week. Activities are consistently offered and the one time I came, the entertainer said hello to my mother and played her favorite song for her, so that was nice. The lady who does the cleaning is very wonderful and I am very impressed because I never smell anything bad there, I have been in many places and that isn't a problem there. The driver from transportation is absolutely wonderful because he is caring, so my mother just absolutely loves him and I think the care staff is all wonderful, so it's been a good experience for her at the community.

The price seems fair, and for what it is, and the people that have to live there, I think it's a good community. The caregivers are good, good to my father, and they keep us informed. I know quite a lot of activities are offered, and my father seems okay with the food. We have no complaints with housekeeping, maintenance, or laundry. It's clean, the staff is friendly and they seem to care about the residents.

The management are really on top of things when you have a question about things. The dining staff is so kind to my mom. When she doesn’t feel like attending the meal they will fix her a doggie bag. She enjoys the activities that she participates in. The maintenance and housekeeping services are good as well. I am satisfied with the care my mom is receiving here.

My dad seems to like everyone that he has to deal with. Whenever the management has called me or if my dad needs them they have been very responsive. He likes bingo and he goes on the outings to shop. From what he tells me he really likes and values the ability to get out still because he can't drive. He was never a very social person but since he has been there he has been more social then he ever was. The housekeepers are on top of it. His room is clean and his stuff is always fresh. He doesn't complain about things getting lost or things not being taken care of. They made some nice changes to the outside area. It seems clean and it doesn't smell bad. The care givers are very aware of my dad. They call me immediately if he is running a fever or complaining of dizziness. They are in touch with me immediately. They follow up and they watch out for him. I would absolutely recommend it. Everything seems great and he seems happy there.

My mother has hated all her previous places and loves it here because of the activities. I like it because she feels very cared for. The tranportation service is great. My mom doesn't have a cell phone and they really worked to make sure she got picked up from the doctor and did a great job. When I have called the care staff and asked for things everyone has been very helpful and supportive. They all have great attitudes and have been very kind.

The Executive Director has bent over backwards, it is very welcoming, the care givers are wonderful and the activities director has bent over backwards trying to get my mom involved.The menu is good and servers are very friendly and nice. The housekeeping is outstanding. The laundry is being done well. Maitenance is incredible. He is so friendly and wonderful. He is my favorite person there. For the most part the care givers are good. Everyone so far has been good.

Mike held my hand throughout the entire process and he was very personable. He was so laid back and let me make the decision but he gave me helpful hints on what to look out for in other places. He was absolutely amazing. The menu looks pretty full of choices and it seemed like they did a good job serving. They have a full schedule of activities to choose from. I think it is wonderful. It seems clean when I go there. Joel took care of everything maintenance wise for my mom. Transportation is great. It is a very helpful service. I have already recommended it to people.

I would recommend it and I’ve been happy with everything so far. Maintenance keeps everything very immaculate. I've been there in the evenings and morning and there is always a lot of activity going on. This is good because they’re getting people out and moving them around. Regarding my dad’s room and laundry, he always seems to have clean clothes on, his bed is always clean, I haven't seen any dirt built up anywhere and the bathroom is clean. The food is great and the way they deliver it is good. They're always making sure he's eating or trying to eat. My wife has talked to all of the people that work there. She speaks Spanish and knows them all and gets along real good with them and knows what his needs are there.

So far since living here, the Management team is doing their best. The building looks nice and clean. Most of the caregivers have hardworking attitudes. I have a good rapport with all of them. The building looks nice and clean. It is important I get maintenance done to my room when needed and they take care of it. The transportation person does his job well. He's a hard working person, and I have no complaints about that.
