Fountain View Village

I think we get a good value. The activities are wonderful; couldn't be better. Maintenance is very responsive to work orders. We use the transportation for our doctor appointments when we have to go over 15 miles. They are excellent. The vehicle is in good condition. The brick and mortar building is wonderful, but what's most important is the people who work here. They care. That's what elderly people care more about. The overall personnel here is great.

It has been four years since I moved in and I am very likely to recommend this facility to others. The staff is being responsive and proactive in our living conditions and everything. It is very good right now. The dining service is good. The activities are good as is Maintenance. The community looks good and transportation is very good as well.

I have been here since 2005 and I really like our new Executive Director. The activities director is first class. The cleaning is okay. The maintenance men respond in a timely manner. The building is a little better than it has been and transportation is good.

It's been about a year that I have lived here and we recently have a new management team. I think there's quite a bit of activities, but I haven't really had a chance to take part in the activities. Housekeeping has been fine and the maintenance team helped with a leak I had. In terms of price, I'm satisfied.

It's a fair price for what we get and everything has gone pretty smooth so far. My parents like the food and they enjoy the movie theater. It looks like there are quite a bit of activities. The care has been good. I hear my parents talk about it and they say it's like being a nice hotel.

I think it's a good value. Mom knew some folks in there, preferred it, and it was close to where she lived. I feel like it has to be pretty competitive. The gentleman who runs maintenance is very good and responsive. Any time my mom needs maintenance done I ask her how it went and she says he was there an hour after she called. Lydia, in health care, is one of the best employees they have there. She does Monday through Friday from afternoon to the evening. She's very good at communicating with me. If additional things are needed, she gives me plenty of notice. She also gives an idea of how my mom's doing. My mom uses transportation every Tuesday to get her hair done. The drivers seem real friendly. At this point we are pretty satisfied.

Everything has been very good. The transportation staff takes us anywhere we want to go. It's very good. Our carpet is always vacuumed, the bathroom is cleaned. The bed is always made, everything is very good. The food has been very good, I've enjoyed it and quality is excellent. We've enjoyed our meals, we've been very satisfied. It's a nice community.

I'm very happy here. It's a fair value. The facility has been very well managed. The food has always been good. They have a very good variety of activities. Housekeeping has been very good. The common areas are very clean; the establishment is always neat and clean. I would recommend Fountain View Village to anybody.

I certainly feel that it's comfortable and safe, and it's like having an apartment anywhere, but you get great care with it. I can't think of a better place to be. I'm very comfortable here as a resident. Someone comes in on a regular basis and she's thorough with cleaning. They're friendly and if you direct them at something they do it. They're excellent. The housekeeper also does the laundry and she does a wonderful job. The gal that runs the activities is super, professional and she does a wonderful job. She's perfect. I do feel that it's a good value. I think they do an excellent job and I feel very safe here. And I have all of my things around me, and I'm very happy with the choice I made.

We did some shopping around before coming here nine months ago and we are satisfied with what we pay here. The wait staff has been great. They work so hard to please us. There are things to do every single day in the morning and afternoon. We only participate in a few of them though, but they have a great variety. Our activities director is so great to work with. They try to do things that everyone will be happy with.
The Maintenance installed a ceiling fan in our second bedroom, they helped us with our television and they replaced a light bulb over our kitchen sink. They are great. The service is just great. We put in a work order and Kevin comes. He is great. The building is fantastic. Every Wednesday is happy hour so in the morning, Kevin puts out a dance floor and chairs around it for people to sit. That night, he picks it all up again. Any entertainment we have where we need chairs, Kevin makes sure they are put out and picked up after the activity. It's a great place and we have recommended it already.
