Fox Point

Maintenance is pretty good; they have a very good maintenance man here who takes care of everything that I know of. Housekeeping is also very good. My apartment is very nice, it's kept clean and everything. It's a little on the high side for price, but I've lived here for three years and like it.

Management is great, they always do whatever I ask, and they are very accommodating. Housekeeping is very good and they clean my room very well. I haven't had a need for the maintenance department, but if there was a need I know they would do it very soon. I can't think of anything I have issues with.

I love my apartment; it's three rooms with a living room, bedroom, and kitchen. And I have a little cat. I have plants outside and feel like it's my own space, I'm very comfortable. We go down to the front desk and fill out a work order, and I have always had Maintenance come up the same day. We had an entertainer last night, he is marvelous, and he is so good. I went to Bible study one morning and a couple other things to see how things are flowing. I like it here.

They nursing staff seems very caring about my mother's well-being. Cleaning of the room is great. My mom is at the Alzheimer's facility and my impressions of the variety of activities are that they're pretty good. She uses the transportation to go on the outings and I have not heard any complaints regarding that service. It's satisfactory.

Management is well-informed and caring. The food is delicious. Everything looks delicious and is served well-presented. The servers attend to my mother, if she asks for something, she gets it. The activities have a real camaraderie. She loves the classes, exercises, and the library. The building is very clean, neat, and everything is in order. It's really nice, it's awesome. Any time I'm there, the care staff has a smile on their face. I know the caregivers watch out for everybody, they're very caring. It was more affordable, smaller than another place we looked at, and when we walked in it was more welcoming and newer. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

We chose Fox Point because my mother has vascular dementia and my father doesn't need care. We wanted to be together. We needed the opportunity to go to the memory care during the day and stay together at night. We had a rough go of things because this was an emergency situation. It was a perfect storm and Judy really helped us. I can't tell you how great she was. Judy helped us every step of the way. She was a god sent to us. I think the housekeeping has done a good job and has been consistent. I think the building looks great. Judy is the reason that we are there. She was extremely helpful to my wife and I. She was on call 24 hours a day for us. She really did a phenomenal job.

He's happy there. My father is 98 years old and he is unable to participate in the activities and has an eating problem. Despite this, the staff has been great. The caretakers are very interested in him and they respond quickly when he has a problem. They are doing the best they can.

I love the community. I'm only a few miles from where I was before so I'm still in my same area which is comforting. Compared to some of the other places I've seen this is the nicest I've seen in the area. I am very happy here, I think Christine is very nice, very friendly, always walking around and greeting everyone. The other people who work in the office are all really good. Wendy is good too. The servers are very good; I'd give them a pretty high rating. I think they are so very patient with us old people. It can get a little frustrating, I'm sure it does for them. I like it here.

I think the management staff is doing a good job, they are trying at least. Housekeeping is pretty good. Laundry is really good and we have a maintenance assistant that does a great job. I love the care team, I've had some things happen and they have really been on it. I think they are great.

We are very happy and consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Fox Point. My father hasn't had any notable complaints, so I would say everything is going well.
