The Gardens of Bellaire

I chose to live in this community because it's a nice place, clean and I like the people. Management answers your complaints right away. The grounds look nice and everything is clean.

I feel at this point that I have been very happy. It has been a relatively short time, but I would say that so far I have been very pleased. I think they keep it clean and seem to show care and respect for all of the patients. I go every day and I have been very pleased with overall how it runs. I would give a lot of credit to the nurses in charge of each shift. They set the tone very well, they are helpful, they are quick to answer questions, they are very patient especially in the beginning with the family. They have always been very patient, kind and accommodating. It's a very good group in Memory Care for sure. She was at another skilled nursing facility prior to coming to Gardens and she hated the food. Here the choices, that's one thing I hope y'all never change. It smells great; the way they serve it, the choices that was actually something I really liked because I was looking while she was still at the other skilled nursing facility. I think Ayeisha is wonderful with them. I have not seen how active mom has been. I think they are fine. When she first came she never wanted to leave her room and now she is out and socializing more. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. It has allowed me to feel comfortable; even go on Spring Break with my kids and know she is getting good care.

Management was pretty good. They explained things clearly to use. I think my mom liked the food and the transportation service was good.

Everybody is so nice to her over there, all of them are so nice, you see them all the time. It's very nice and beautiful, the room is really nice, everything is nice and well kept, the room, bathroom and everything. The healthcare staff really takes care of business, they're really alert. They have nice bathrooms and everything and they feed you three times a day, that's really something.

We have been very pleased with the services that have been rendered there. The management is always so welcoming. In regards to the activities, my sister has something every day. There is something in the morning and something in the afternoon. The housekeepers come in and mop and clean the bathroom. They are very thorough. The building is kept up very nice. My sister is doing well. I am impressed. The care givers are excellent. If we request something they try to get it done as quickly as possible.

My mother went there for rehab and after that just stayed there. She was really all for it from the beginning and since then I think she's been happy with it. She likes the food, the dining hall works well for her. She's been happy with the activities, I think they've been good for her. The healthcare services have been good, everyone has been real nice. Overall she's been very pleased there, she's comfortable.

I chose this community for my husband because this was a respite stay. My husband had stayed here a while back when he broke his ribs and he felt very comfortable here. Everyone in management has been very kind. My husband was been very happy with the food. It's still a lot of money but I felt very comfortable with my husband being there.

The reason we chose The Gardens of Bellaire for my mother was because it really came down to her just liking it. She went to an activity there when my sister took her for lunch, so she had a good experience and it was huge because she was reluctant to move into anywhere. So far, management is respectful, accessible and responsive, but I really haven't had any issues. The food is good and both, service and menu variety are satisfactory. She has gone down to play Bingo and she Christmas decorated another afternoon, so there is definitely enough to keep her with having something to do, which is really good and they offer outings. Last time I was there, her room certainly looked clean and they're picking her trash, so housekeeping services have been consistent. With the building itself, I haven't seen anything out of place. It seems very organized and it's decorated really nicely for Christmas, so I think it looks great. Regarding the healthcare staff, I have been happy with the care that she has gotten. I had asked the healthcare clinic to watch her medicine and they were willing to do that without extra charge, since it wasn't going to be on-going, so we're really appreciative of that. She also says people check in on her all the time, which is nice and in general, they have a lot of staff. When I am there, they're interacting with the residents so overall I have been happy with the community. Since she has been there, she is in a better mood most of the time, has actually said it's a really nice place and that it was a good decision to come there.

In the year my mom lived there the management would respond to your requests or inquiries. I think she felt it was good food and there was plenty of it. In regards to the housekeeping and laundry, it was well done. The outside and inside of the building was excellent. It was excellent care. They were very attentive and responsive. I think just keep doing the good job that they are doing. I was very, very impressed.

My uncle needed rehab before moving into Assisted Living and The Gardens has rehab co-located with it, so we moved him in. I think the price is very fair. It’s more service for the price than my prior experience with another family member. Management has been accommodating and informative. The food is very good, I actually had Thanksgiving dinner there, and my uncle us pleased with the food and variety. Housekeeping is good, and they are doing his laundry which has worked out well. My uncle had maintenance set TV his up. The room had been renovated before move-in and a couple things had to be tweaked and it was all taken care of very well. Overall, we really are very satisfied.
