Gardens of Fayetteville

As a teacher I used to bring my kids over there, and I always thought this is where I'd want to be, this is where I want my parents. I just moved my dad in, and I couldn’t ask for more. The administrative staff goes over and beyond and I am thrilled beyond belief. I am tickled pink with the way the management team has incorporated me into things. They are amiably and professional. The care staff is excellent. The dining, housekeeping, maintenance, and activities have all been good. I'm tickled pink.

When we moved my mother in, I struggled with the decision emotionally. The managment team have been very caring, they have kept me apprised of everything. The care staff has been uplifting to me and I feel confident that she is being looked after with genuine concern. She likes to go out into the gardens, she actually calls it her backyard, and she loves that. Everything in her apartment was updated before she moved in and it was freshly painted.

I liked the people; they made me feel at home and confident in the care there. So far the cost, I think, is at the level he's at, is reasonable. Compared to other places, they are some more, some less, it's market rate. I am pleased with the room for my husband. Management is excellent. They always call me, if I have any questions they answer. I like the activities and so does my husband. So far everything is good.

My father-in-law loves the housekeeping, he thinks they are phenomenal and they're doing a good job. I think the activities are also good, but he is just not that interested. As for healthcare services, so far so good, he doesn't really need any caregiving or meds or anything like that, they're keeping an eye on him in case he needs something. They check in on him every so often to make sure he's OK. I'd say it's going well.

I'm happy with all of the caretakers. It's top notch. I was there yesterday and it was movie time, they made popcorn for the residents. It was great. The management has been so helpful. It was outstanding; the lady in housekeeping even helped me clean up after moving in. I would tell everybody, it's actually the best I've seen.

Everything was wonderful and it was great, they did exactly what we needed them to do. My friend loved the food, he thought it was exceptional. The activities were great. Housekeeping was very good. When we were moving out, we had an issue with the AC so maintenance came to fix it, they were wonderful. The healthcare staff was great. I would say it is definitely worth the cost.

It's reasonable, it was a shock but it's reasonable, it's in the ballpark with everybody else. It's the first place I would recommend. It's such a stressful time in our lives, it's nice that the staff can just take it and run with it and tell us what we need to do and what they're going to do, and it’s nice of them to do that. They've gone above and beyond. They have a lot of options, my dad loves the food so I don't have any complaints about that all. Nikki, the manager there, goes above and beyond. They do keep the other residents very busy. Everything is immaculate so far. Everyone there is super wonderful, they're great. I haven't met one person that isn't great at their job and that's honestly amazing. They love the company they work for, so that says a lot.

They were willing to work with us on the price that was excellent. Management is always there, always available. They made a hard situation manageable. My friend loves eating there, the food is good. They're doing a great job. I think the activities are excellent. Housekeeping and laundry are excellent. They have the most pleasant staff I've ever met. The caretakers are pleasant, make you feel at home, and they're helpful. If I had to go to assisted living I would prefer a smaller, more caring facility like Gardens of Fayetteville. The staff is unbelievable.

I love the staff; the ones I've dealt with were good. It was always very clean. Everything was always in its spot or someone was cleaning or coming in to do laundry. They do a lot of family activities throughout the year where they invite the families to different events, which is nice too. The thing I really liked about it compared to some other facilities was the size, because it is smaller there was more the feeling of family compared to larger facilities in the area that don't have that same feeling. You get to know people because you see them frequently and develop a closer relationship with the staff and the management. In terms of the crafts, they do a lot of outings that they seem to enjoy. They're very open to suggestions. I thought the management staff did very well, they were very personable.

Everyone knows me by first name, it makes it so nice when I walk in, I'm greeted and it's just a very good experience. My dad is fitting in just beautifully, he really is. The caretakers are very attentive. Anything he has needed he's gotten immediately, everybody is just superb. Ronnie is superb; he is Johnny on the spot. Everything is perfect. The housekeepers are very attentive to my dad and keep his area neat and clean at all times of the day. The activities coordinator Tammy is superb. The service, the food, everything has just worked out beautifully. They've been totally awesome. You get what you pay for so we're pleased.
