Glenwood Place Senior Living

At this community, I don't just see the staff and the management just doing their job. I see that they actually care about doing their job and that they care about being on top of the game. It's not something just put forward as a covering. The people there are truly dedicated to their jobs and work and I find that rare in today's workplace. Management has always been ready willing and able to work with me on any issue or concern.The nursing staff from the directors all the way down to the med aides are very responsive, communicative, and they keep me in the loop on everything. Anybody who asks me, the first words out of my mouth are telling them to go to Glenwood, they don't have to look any further.

The management are wonderful people and they are really nice. They are communicative, pleasant and helpful. That place runs like a clock, it is great. They bailed me out of a difficult place and are great. My parents had maintenance fix a couple little things and they were quick, responsive and got it fixed. The nurses are really nice, they communicate and are helpful. They are really a great group of people.

The management has been good. When I request something it gets done. Maintenance has been very good and nice and they get right on projects. As far as the food, we have been to a couple of the buffets they have and they were great. I also think the price is very fair and I'd recommend it to others!

When we were first looking into it the management was very accommodating and helpful. I think they do a remarkable job and everyone seems to be extremely happy. I have met a lot of Mom's friends and they all enjoy being there. The staff seems to look for opportunities to get the residents together and provide the social support that they need. I think it is amazing. In the dining area there are different options. The residents can order off the menu or they can eat in the dining room or the buffet or the bistro. The food is decent. They have a wide variety of activities. I know Mom has gone to the Culinary Institute for lunch. They go on surprise trips for fun and they have movies. She loves the hymn sing. They have coffee in the morning in the plaza where she lives. She has been really happy and they keep them busy. They have had a Mardi Gras and parties for St. Patricks Day and Valentines Day and a fair day. The birthday dinners are amazing. In general, the place is always clean and the maintenance staff seems to be very proactive about coming in and changing batteries in the smoke alarms. There was a problem with her dishwasher or toilet and she called and they came the same day.

The management is always respectful to me. My husband enjoys the food and always says it is good. There is always a variety on the menu. It is different every day. The maintenance is good. The condition of the building is good and it always smells good and fresh. The care givers are always respectful. I think they are great. They have a hard job and I think they do a great job.

Management does a good job. The dining service is excellent. The people who do the activities thoroughly enjoy them, and the trips to the restaurants are well run. Maintenance is outstanding and prompt, and they go out of their way. I think the value here is better than anywhere else, and I am truly happy to be here.

I commend the care staff for making sure my daughter has her meds before we take her out. They are very respectful to my daughter. I really appreciate all the music sessions that thy have. The activities are consistent. They have two people that bring dogs for them. I don't have any problems with the management. There is great value in that they try to keep everyone safe and healthy and that they take precautions that way.

They offer a lot of activities. In regards to maintenance, they have been pretty good. When I have complained about things, the maintenance staff has been pretty good about getting to things that need to be fixed. The building always looks nice. The maintenance staff does a good job with the building. The care givers are pretty good about coming if you push the button. I would recommend it.

The place has just been wonderful. The director has helped me through my current situation. I could not ask for anything better.

Personally, I think you get what you pay for, and we get a lot. Everything is available. What more could you ask for? I love my apartment. I feel very secure here. The food is good and on par with this kind of place. I take the bus to church and so on. It is wonderful. Carol, the driver, does a wonderful job. The maintenance people are excellent. They are just fabulous. I like the activities. I think they are receptive to adding something is anybody wants it. I think the activities are very adequate. I don't have a problem with talking to any of the management. I love to tell everyone how wonderful of a place Glenwood Place is.
