Glenwood Place Senior Living

My husband seems to like the variety provided from the dining department. They have several activities for him to participate in and we are still working on what is the best avenue for him. Mark in maintnenance has been very helpful and the care team has been really good. He tripped and skinned his knee and they have been caring for it diligently and have it 99% healed quickly. All in all, he feels safe and comfortable living at Glenwood.

The memory care director Colleena, and Dionica really have good communication and response time to me when I have concerns about my husband. They seem to be pretty involved in what is going on. Eric, in accounting, was very helpful and responsive when I had a question with my first bill. I like the personal feel in the community and interaction and care that was being shown to the residents by the staff. I think the care team are paying really close attention to him and are following the care plan that we have established. The bistro has interesting dishes, they are well presented, cooked properly and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The landscaping on the outside is absolutely impeccable. I think this was the best choice for him.

We moved my parent's in law into the community when my father-in-law's care needed to be increased and so far, the management has been very receptive when I call with any questions. In terms of services, they're happy with the laundry and my father-in-law has started to venture a little bit in playing Poker. Overall, it's very good and it seems like things are kept well there.

My parents just felt very comfortable when they went in and met with Linda. They just felt that Glenwood was the place they wanted to be. The price was right, and they liked the rooms, and they liked that the hallways were well lit, so they moved in. Linda in management was very, very helpful throughout the entire process. She was nice, spoke directly to my parents, was really friendly and good. I feel there are plenty of varied activities and maintenance has been helpful. We have recommended it and another couple is moving in this September.

They are well staffed and the staff are nice. They plan fun things to do and places to go and I think that there is so much to do that you could not possibly do it all. They are always very good in terms of the maintenance of the community. I think it's a good place and I would recommend it here.

Since moving into Glenwood I found that maintenance has been pretty good at responding. I am pretty satisfied with the maintenance. The building looks nice. They keep it up quite a bit. One of the big reasons that I moved here is that I felt safe. That was very important to me. I feel safe and comfortable here.

Overall, I think I have been satisfied living here so far. The food is okay. The cleaning is okay. I have had no trouble with maintenance. Transportation is very good. We know what days they go to certain doctors so we try to schedule on the day that they drive to that area. That has worked out okay for me. I am not sure what other communities charge but I believe this one is better than the others.

It is a nice place, it is quiet and the residents are very nice and friendly. Managment seems to send someone up promptly when I tell them something is broken.They are very kind, for example: one night I got sick and they were very nice and stayed with me until the EMS people arrived. The meals are well balanced. They have a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit. They offer a great number of activities. They have a lot of exercise classes. They have a place you can go and have a glass of wine on Monday's and Friday's. They have movies and they also have a library with a lot of books that we can read. They have outings to different places. All the halls and bathrooms are always clean. I think that the maintenance team is very nice and patient. They are usually very prompt but they sometimes do get busy. They explain how to use new things they install. The maintenance is very good. It is a large community and they make sure it is well cared for. They wash the windows every year. The outside is beautiful especially in the Spring. It always looks neat. They built a fence in the back and it makes it look so much better out there. The bus is always clean inside and it looks like it is in good condition. I have just been very pleased with everything here.

I have lived at Glenwood Place for almost two and a half years and I have been well pleased. I'm perfectly satisfied with the housekeeping and laundry. I use transportation a lot because I gave up my car one year ago and they're excellent! I haven't had any complaints in regards to the management, activities, or anything else.

I have lived here for 10 months now and I think eevrything is good.Maintenance does a good job. Cleaning is fine. Laundry is good. I havent had any complaints. I'm satisfied with the care and everything for the most part.
