Grand Victorian of Rockford

I have always felt we get a good bang for the buck. In just about every area I would say they're very good. Everyone has been real responsive. The managers have done everything they are supposed to do and I think the care is very good. I think they have plenty of activities and they go out of their way to keep residents active and engaged.

I am very happy with everything at this community and have nothing bad to say about it.The food is always good, the servers do the best they can and the dining room has a very nice atmosphere. They always have something going on over there.Everything is always spotless and clean. It is very nice and the building is always kept up really nice. It is attractive and nice looking.The caregivers are very caring and very personal. All in all, I cannot say anything bad about this community.

I believe that the management addresses any concerns that I have and they do a very good job of communicating. They have quite a few activities. My dad enjoys music. I like the fact that the caregivers are consistent for the most part. He has had the same care givers during the week so that is really important to me. The care givers are always responsive.

I like the place and I am glad she is there. The care that my mother gets is all important and wonderful. They do a really good job. The nurses they have are wonderful. The aides are great. They are very attentive. There are a lot of activities.

It is the best place for my mom. She can be social or not, whatever she chooses. The food is decent. We are very happy with her there and I believe she is too. We are very happy with her there. She has used the transportation service and thinks it is a great service.

My mom is comfortable, she loves it, they show her apartment often and that makes her proud. I'm quite happy with the management. I think there's a wide variety of activities and there's always something going on every day so if she's bored it's because she doesn't want to participate. I just always see something going on there all the time. The nurses are always there whenever she falls or anything they let me know, I'm happy with it and she's happy and safe so that's all that matters to us.

I chose this community for my mom because I always loved this community and it was my favorite in this area. I am still in shock over the price but I think the value is good and her apartment is really good. Management has been wonderful. They are very nice and Don is a great guy. They are all good and I am very happy with them. She had something in the dining room the other night that was so good and she attributed it to the new cook. The service in the dining room is wonderful. I am really happy with the activities they offer. The cleaning is fine. The maintenance man has done a good job and is very prompt. The building is very nice. It is very beautiful and kept up nice. Mom really likes the caregivers. They are very good. The thing my mom loves the most is the staff and they have been great in all the departments. We have been very impressed with all the staff.

They were the friendliest and employees stay a long time. They have the best rooms and the overall price was good. It was the best place for my mom. In regards to the management, everybody is friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. When you ask something you get a response. The housekeeping does an excellent job on all of that. They don't let garbage sit around. They are very tidy. The care givers are excellent. They are very friendly and very knowledgeable and they are on top of things. They know what they are doing and they care. I have already told lots of people about it. It is working out very well and I am very happy with all of the staff.

Yesterday the caregivers called me because they were concerned with my mom's condition and felt like she needed to go to urgent care. We felt a little doubt because she was fine the day before. We took her to urgent care and she ended up with bronchitis. The nurse that was watching over mom yesterday caught that. We were there today and people were in and out a few times every hour. We were very pleased and quite impressed with the attention she is getting. Maintenance has been very prompt and I like the building. Their decorations are wonderful and they keep up with the building very nicely. The laundry is fine and we are very pleased with the activities. She has a wide variety of choices which we are happy with. My mom likes the food and she likes every person in every department. She is pleased and so am I. Management is just fine. I bring my very young grandson with me to visit my mom. The staff all stops and greet him by name. We are very pleased with the value at this community.

In regards to the management, I haven't had a lot of dealings with them but when I have they all seem really nice. The rest of my family has dealt with them and they are happy with them too. There seems to be plenty of activities to do; I think they are good on that. My grandparents get help with the laundry and it seems to be going good. The maintenance seems pretty good. The aides are really nice. Everyone there is exceptionally nice. My grandparents love them.
