Greatwood at Sugarland

We chose this community for my dad because I thought the facility was nice and the people were really friendly when we met with them. It was affordable for the services provided. Everyone has been friendly from day one here. They come in and clean the apartment, take out the trash and check Dad's hamper. It has all worked out well. We are really happy with the facility. They go above and beyond. Just based from others we looked at and where he came from we are paying less money here. It is a nice facility and I thought it was a great facility. It isn't perfect but all in all we have been happy with the facility and the people there.

My husband and I moved in a year and a half ago, and when he passed, I chose to stay here because I am very happy here. I am happy with my new apartment in the Independent Living section. The food has improved and the wait staff is fantastic. Activities are varied and we have input here, the residents. Again, staff is doing a good job. Transportation is excellent, I use it on occasion. I would get my husband out when we could. The driver is very safe, patient, and considerate. He takes us to the grocery store and so forth. The only issue is when the bus has to go in for maintenance. They have decided if that happens they will get a rental vehicle. It’s happened a couple of times and that was an excellent solution. I've had the same housekeeper since my husband and I came. I have no problems with housekeeping. The maintenance department has improved. The staff is wonderful. My husband was under hospice care his last year and they cooperated with them nicely. I cannot say enough about the angels in Assisted Living. I feel safe and comfortable here.
