The Groves, A Merrill Gardens Community

The care staff go over and beyond to be friendly with the residents, to know their names, to talk to them, and to talk to their families. They are there for you when you need them. They're great with my loved one. From what I know about the activities and from what I hear and see, they're good. The dining staff is raelly nice and really friendly. They're really good about memorizing the residents' names. The management team has always been right there and have been very courteous and professional. They have gone out of their way for myself and my loved ones.

Our transition into the assisted living area was quick because the management team was very helpful. The young people who help the residents are very attentive, patient, and respectful. I think the community does an excellent job providing a variety of activities and I rely on the care services because they've been good about calling me with any concerns. My Mom really enjoys it!

I've found that the management team is responsive and acknowledge my Mother when she needs something. The housekeeping and maintenance service is available when you need them and the transportation is offered twice a week. My sisters and I liked the community and we all agreed it was a good place for my Mother.

I don't have a problem with laundry or housekeeping. It appears there are enough activities offered. The dining service is fine. I am satisfied with the overall price. I would recommend them.

The management communicates well. I feel like I have one of them on speed dial. As far as the management and the ladies that work at the front desk, they have been great for me. They have made it very easy. I think the food is great, there is great variety, and the service is great as well. The building is beautiful. I have been happy with the care.The care staff seems to treat her pretty good.

Management handles situations right away. The activities they do in memory care are awesome. I love the caregivers. Everyone genuinely and truly cares about the residents. I think they are awesome with my dad.I am totally confident with my dad being here. I think the staff is awesome. They treat my dad like he is family. I love it here. My dad hasn't had any issues with maintenance, and I have never had any issues with housekeeping and laundry. We haven't lost any clothing. When he was in assisted living, I thought the activities were excellent. The things they do in memory care are awesome as well.

Overall, the management is very good. Marie and Jerry are wonderful. Kim, the new nurse, is great. The food and dining staff are wonderful. The activities director likes to pick things that everyone can participate in as often as she can. She is so good with the residents. The maintenance staff is a team of great guys. They're very knowledgeable. They do a great job keeping the grounds cleaned up.

Management is always available and answer my questions to the fullness of their knowledge. My mom likes the fact that food is available whenever. They try to have a variety of activities for everybody. They offer them at different times. Her apartment is very nice. Maintenance is always available to take care of any needs that come up. For what they offer here, the price is very reasonable compared to everywhere else.

I think the management is very helpful. They are always there to answer questions and to address anything that I ask for. The caregivers were very attentive when my dad was sick. They have enough menu variety. There are a lot of activities to do. Housekeeping does a fine job. They wash his bedding and clean every Tuesday. We compared a lot of different prices, and I thought they were good.

Whenever I bring a concern to management, they get me an answer as soon as they can. They are very friendly. My dad says the food is really good, and they serve big portions, so he is full every time he eats. There are a lot of different activities to do here. His apartment is clean. He likes his apartment. The caregivers have been superb. I think it is a good value for everything he gets here. I have told a lot of people about this community.
