My mom seems to like the food and the staff is very friendly, so that's nice. The healthcare staff does very well with her and they always keep in touch with me if anything happens, good or bad, and they're very personable.
I live in out of state and I've only been there a few times each year to visit my aunt in the seven years she’s lived there. I have dealt with LeAnn and Cindy in management, and they’ve been respectful and helpful. My aunt tells me she participates in activities so that's a positive. I had a good talk with the nurse and she is responsive. I think the price is fair, I think here in my state it's more expensive, so she's getting a good value. If it wasn’t for the distance I’d keep her at The Hampton. But I can’t get there more often than a few times a year, so I have to move her. Otherwise, I'd keep her there; she is safe and comfortable there.
The activities here are really good. Mark, the director, does an excellent job. The maintenance guys are always willing to help. We have used the transportation many times for my mother's appointment and he is great. All the caregivers, nurses and management are good.
