Lake Barrington Woods

My friend likes the community a lot. It is a great spot for her and she has made some great friends there. She is playing poker and really enjoys using the pool at the community.

My mom likes the care she is receiving, and if she has any issues, they take care of it. The maintenance team is always good about doing things right away. The outside and inside of the building are very good. The housekeeping and laundry has been very good. I really like the director, Pam, a lot. She helps with anything. Pam works really early in the morning until really late at night, and she's enver unhappy. She's always very acommodating no matter how many hours she works in a day. I've recommended this community.

The food is good, the menu variety is good and the dining service is very good. They have a lot of variety of activities for the residents to do. Her apartment is good, and my mother is very comfortable and very safe. All assisted livings are very expensive, but I think she is getting quality care for what she is paying.

I am extremely satisfied with the apartment. The management are great and always accessible. They call me by name when I walk in. My parents love the food. I am a music therapist and have traveled to a lot of facilities, and I have never seen a calendar as full and varied and as nice as this. Dad does his own laundry, but he is very happy with the housekeeping. It is a beautiful facility. I recommend it to everybody. I am just blown away.

I think my parents really enjoy living there. The quality of food is great. There is a good variety of things they can participate in. They will take them off site to a park to walk if they want a little more exercise. It seems like the building is always clean and the landscaping looks nice. They just did an update on the building to keep it updated and modern. Everything is good. My parents are happy.

Management has always been very conscientious and right there when you need them. My mother seems to be very happy with the dining. This community has a lot of wonderful activities. The remodeling of the building has been fabulous, maintenance does a great job decorating, and the pots out front are beautiful. I think it is a great value. This is really a pleasant and attractive community, and I think they are doing a great job.

I think they were very responsive to what was asked for. Even though her condition was going down, they stuck with us. They were there, we could ask them questions, and they followed through. I loved that apartment and liked the balcony very much. Maintenance was there lickity split. He took care of the problem. Things were addressed when needed. The guy in transportation was very charming. I miss it already, and we have only been gone a week. I like it there very much. I would recommend that facility to anyone who needed that kind of care.

Management is very attentive and makes sure things are taken care of immediately. My mother absolutely loves the food. The building is absolutely gorgeous.The care staff is very attentive. When she calls, the maintenance team is there immediately. They do everything perfectly here.

The staff seems happy and they know everybody. They do their best to make sure the residents have what they need. They are just good to my mother. They do what they are supposed to do. I think they do a really good job with activities. They give the residents enough to do if they want to do them. They try and mix it up and I think they do a good job.

She is well taken care of and I feel very good that she is where she is. The staff is very good they take good care of her. She is well fed, and I am over 2000 miles away, and I don't have to worry about her. The care staff are very good and are respectful; she likes her caregivers. The food is really good. I have eaten there on occasion when I have visited. Everytime I have gone there to visit, her apartment is clean. She likes her apartment and she feels safe and comfortable, and that is important. I think it is good value for where she is. I would definitely recommend the facility to someone else. It is wonderful, and is an excellent facility.
