Lakeshore Manor

My dad said he decided that was where they wanted to live for the rest of their life. Tt's going really well. The activities and healthcare services are great. I think everything is going good. The communication is great.

The activities seem to be very good and I like getting a daily email on what she is doing.The nurses are always available to talk and they always respond the same day or within an hour. I think it is a tremendous value. My impression from my sister and my mom is that this community is very well run and we are really happy with it. It has been a great experience for her and for us. I think this is a great community for her.

Coming from Chicago, it's more affordable up here with better quality for less prices and there is alot of room in the apartment. The care staff is great with coming up and letting me know how my father is doing, so there is good communication and they're very understanding. The activities are good, service staff during dining provide the residents with plenty of options and the building has actually improved since we have been there, so overall, the value is excellent.

I think their décor is very nice as well and it feels homey and comfortable. It's a really nice place and I'm thankful that everyone is there. My mom feels very much at home so we consider the whole place a blessing.

The management seems very responsive if you have a question or concern. Anytime I have been there there is always someone around. The dining staff are professional and friendly. She said that the chef comes out during each meal to see how the food was. My mom seems to have enjoyed the activities; they have a dry erase board by the entrance and they list it almost hourly what they are going to have for the day.

I am very happy with the size of the facility and it was available when we needed it. They were very accommodating with our quick move in. I am grateful it is a smaller facility because I didn't want her getting lost. Mom is getting 24 hour care, meals, activities and a very pleasant room. They have been accommodating in every way. There isn't any skimping on care.There are plenty of activities offered. They take her out of her room and try to get her involved. She is enjoying the food. There is a good variety for her and she is eating very well. We have everything labeled for her and everything seems to be coming back from the laundry. The housekeeping seems to be great. The building and grounds are kept up very well. So far everything seems to be going well with her care. Anytime there is an issue I get a phone call. They seem to be on top of things.

They're very attentive when there is an issue and they take care of things right away. She hasn't had any issues that I am aware of, but the building appears to be in satisfactory condition. With other services, they seem to be on top of housekeeping really well. The activities are consistently offered, entertaining and well planned for the residents. They do a good job of giving the residents menu options.

Management has been good and they have a lot of good activities for the residents.

The people involved; it seems like a good group of helpful people, so we chose to move my dad into Lakeshore Manor. The administrative team were very helpful with our questions and have the answers we're looking for. The dining room seems clean and the staff is friendly in that area. It seems well-run and managed, and I like their set-up. It seems like they have a lot of activities and always try to get people involved, so that's good. The apartment looks clean and kept up, so I know housekeeping is cleaning it well and regularly. Maintenance is very good, they keep the building up well. They’ve helped with some chairs moving them in and setting them up, so they were very helpful to us. The value is very good. I am very pleased and I think we made a very good choice for my father. I am overall happy with the results.

The laundry service is fine. It is done once a week and it comes back folded and they put it away. I haven't heard any complaints about anyone in the maintenance department from my dad and I think the building is in good shape.
