The Landing of Stow

The management have always been helpful. I think they do a very good job making activities available to the residents and the housekeeping is very good. I know my mom has used the transportation services and has been happy with it.

We were looking for a place and were at the rehab center with my brother and got a text from them and went over. They were running a sale where they lock the prices in for two years and we really liked it when she showed us around, I think the prices are very good compared to what we were looking at. I just think that everyone has been very nice, very helpful, anytime we ask them for something, it doesn't matter who it is, they're right on it. Everybody is willing to help him, a maintenance person, someone in the kitchen, they never say 'That's not my job, let me ask somebody else'. If he doesn't come down, someone brings him food up and they're always real nice. Maintenance has been great, anything my brother has asked of them, he's been right there and he takes the time to talk to him which I think is important in a place like that and the building looks wonderful. The healthcare staff has been coming up there every day and taking his vitals, checking on him.

My mother is in a private room and loves having her own bathroom. There is a good value at this community. My mother is very happy being at this community and has no complaints. When I visit, everything seems to be managed correctly. My mother loves the food and the service in the dining room is very good. She says that there are a lot of activities to do. Her room is always clean and fresh smelling. The grounds and common areas at this community are all kept up well. My mother is very pleased with the transportation. She is cared for and the nurses are great. The caregivers greet me by name and are friendly with her. She is comfortable with all of the caregivers. All in all, we are happy with this community.

I had taken my friend to look at four different assisted living places and this was the one she liked. She was the most comfortable there and found it to be low key and kind of homey. The management staff has been very attentive and connected with her personally right away. The healthcare staff has given her some personal attention. Right now it's been a real positive experience for both her and me, it has exceeded our expectations.

I was very pleased and impressed when I met the new staff that came in so that is why my mother went to The Landings. The management staff have been very very cooperative and have tried to assist with anything they can. They're very friendly, the management team is great. We were very impressed with how clean everything looked and smelled. So far the food is the best that I've seen out of all of them and I've been to a lot of communities. The kids that wait on everybody are so nice, are always smiling and treat everybody well. The food is a good selection for the older people. The Activities Director knows each person there and what their activites are and tries to get them to participate and pick things that would include everybody. The healthcare staff makes sure she's getting what she needs and see her on a regular basis. It has been very good.

Management is very responsive to whatever I have asked of them and they were very helpful in the process of getting my father in there. There is a good variety in the menu and the quality of food is excellent. The laundry has been done well and the maintenance man has been very responsive and very good. Megan, the sales person, was outstanding. She was very helpful during a very difficult time for us. She went above and beyond to help us. I feel like my father is safe now.

We chose the Landing becuase my sister just felt very comfortable when she walked in, she said it was small and cozy. She likes going on the bus trips which I think are very nice. We have had no complaints with housekeeping or maintenance. They come in and clean, her laundry is great, and she doesn't have to wait too long when she needs something fixed. Sabrina, the Exective Manager, and Sylvia, the Director, they're great. They're just wonderful. The management staff greet you, they're very nice and kind. If you ask them for something they're just very accommodating. They're very nice and do their job very well. It's wonderful. They had a family day and everybody pitched in. There wasn't one worker that didn't. They served coffee, they take your breakfast. I haven't known another place to do that where all the employees pitch in to help.

Morgan in management is a doll. She is the sweetest kid. The management staff were great to me and wonderful. My mom says that if she wants to go do something, there is always something to do during the day. The activities are great. The housekeeping is super. It is spotless. The laundry is great. The aides come in and put away her laundry. She is super picky about her laundry and they have figured it out. The aides are amazing. They take over and do stuff. One aide gave my mom a shower even though she was not registered for one because my mom had not had a shower in awhile. She loves the aides. Overall, its a great place and the savings are wonderful.

I am satisfied with the communication. I like how they call me every time my mom is not feeling well. The activities are very good. I love how they send me the calendar as well because that keeps me up to date. Housekeeping is very good, as is maintenance. Before she moved in, they asked us what color she would like her room so they could paint it. That was a great first impression. If something needed attention, they got to it right away. The care is excellent. My mom had to go to the hospital recently because the nurses were concerned how she had not been eating right. They suggested a blood draw and found out she was anemic. The nurse was very proactive about my mom's care and called to see how she was doing when she was in the hospital. I was able to talk to the nurse directly when my mom got back and she had the paperwork from the hospital. She was able to get my mom's prescription much quicker than I would have been able to. I was very happy about that. I would most definitely recommend the place.

I would recommend it at any time. I love it and I think people should love it. It's a wonderful community; I really highly respect all of the professionals there. They are very flexible because I live in Ohio and they do a lot of things and let me know the results. Everything is really great. They do everything they're supposed to do; there are no problems at all. Everything is extremely well-kept. There's excellent activities, my mom likes to be doing something every day. I am very happy with them. As far as I know, everything is doing very well, especially with the new people that are preparing food.
