Liberty Heights

It's good food, we have fantastic choices. There is way too much to do, everything from card playing activities, exercise activities, tai chi, water aerobics, we have an exercise room. We do Jeopardy and crossword puzzles, there's just a variety. We have a fantastic maintenance team, they check it out when you call in a work order, it's usually taken care of within the first day. The value is good, all in all I'm a very happy person. Having the social contacts, having the activities scheduled for you. It's good, I'm a happy camper.

Management is very responsive, Laura and her team do a fantastic job. The food always looks great to me. The healthcare staff is very responsive, friendly, helpful and attentive. Jill Shepard is great, she listens and is very energetic.

Management is always quick to answer any questions or give me advice and meet up with me since day one, she's responsible and helpful. The Happy Hour on Friday and the Sunday brunch has been outstanding, she's really enjoyed that.

She loves her apartment. The activities seem to be very appropriate, housekeeing is fine. If she has a problem, maintenance seems to come around quickly. The transportation runs great and the staff is very cordial and prompt.

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations I receive at Liberty Heights; I feel safe and comfortable living at the community. I have been here 17 years and while the building is 25 years old, they do the best they can with the community. Regarding the maintenance staff themselves, if you call, you can get someone to help and while it may not be the same day, they're very responsive towards our needs. In terms of cleanliness, the housekeeping is adequate, but we have our own washer and dryer in each unit, which is really a blessing. Regarding activities offered, they're excellent and the community also offers opportunities to leave offsite. In general, I am satisfied with the quality of food, menu variety and management is available to all of us. Even just his afternoon I had a meeting with a group of people, and the Director joined us, so let's just say the key people are available and they're upfront. Overall, it's been a fantastic 17 years at Liberty Heights.

Liberty Heights is truly a great community and it's like living in a 4 star hotel. The people are great, the community is great and the residents I have met are great, but I have decided that I miss my own house, the memories, my neighbors and the people I associated with on a daily basis, so that is the only reason I moved back. In terms of value, you're getting everything you could possibly want inside of a senior citizen community and the apartment is tremendous. When I moved in, maintenance fixed everything, hung pictures, put in balance bars and fixed a nice area for my dog to go outside. They also put down artificial turf for her and it was all done before I moved in, plus the building is outstanding. Regarding housekeeping, my housekeeper takes about 2 hours and covers everything in the apartment, including changing the sheets, making the bed and cleaning between my office to the bathroom. She also vacuums, mops, and wipes down my cabinets, fridge and things like that. Regarding activities, they just have so many activities going on and so many different things are available to do there. I am going to a strength class for example, but they have some type of class going on every day. The dining service is great and they have tremendous choices on the menu during the dining experience. In terms of management, they're professional and friendly, which are two great things to have. Overall, it’s an outstanding place and I mainly did it because I wanted to find out about it.
