Locust Grove Personal Care & Memory Care

I was there to feed my wife lunch every day and the food was very good. Debbie, from activities, upstairs always had something going. They had stuff going on all the time. The apartment was very clean and the beds were made all the time. Anytime I asked the maintenance staff to do something, John was there within an hour or two and he did it. The girls who worked there did a very good job. I never went over there and saw that my wife was wet or dirty. Any time I needed something over there, I would go over to one of the caregivers, and they would deliver what I needed.

I have been happy with the services and accommodations. I haven't had any problems, I can get in touch with the management staff and they're there to talk with if I need them. She likes the food and the wait staff is friendly and nice. I think they do very well with activities and my mom likes the maintenance staff. The nursing staff is great and when you call them they are right on the ball.

At the community, anytime we have a question we ask and we get an answer from management. My mother-in-law doesn't participate in the activities because she has a hard time hearing and seeing. But, they try to get her to participate. We have never had any problems with housekeeping or maintenance. Whenever I have a question for the techs they answer it. They are very good. Everything is great and we have never had a problem there. They take care of everything. It is a relief off our backs.

"The people there seem to be very caring. I feel like my father is very safe there. They have done all that they could on their part to help my father's situation. I would say the grounds are kept very nice; they plant flowers and the bushes are all trimmed nicely. They have a lot of activities, he's gone on outings. They took him to a Pirate's game. That kind of thing we're very happy with. They are there to help him with whatever he needs so I am very happy about that."

"My mother lives at the community and I have no issues. I get a call or a message when anything needs to be changed. Communication is pretty good. I have seen the maintenance guys and they do a pretty good job. Care seems to be going well too. Residents here are very well taken care of."

"It's a good place. The employees have a good appreciation of the resident. It's clean, the foods good, the workers are nice to the people who live there, and that cannot be easy. The housekeeping is good, and 9/10 times the building looks great"

"Locust Grove was much better than my mom was staying before! We're pretty satisfied at this point. The food is good and she doesn't go to any activities, but those seem good. We are pretty happy there."
