Mangrove Bay

I moved here because my daughter was here, and I no more than got here when she moved away. If it hadn't been for this community and the nature of the way people get along here, I would have been very lonely and felt like I had no family at all. I feel really lucky to have been here, so she could move and not have to worry. This is my home now.

It's been really good. She is in memory care but is allowed to go to assisted and independent living dining room. She has a lot of variety, so she is fortunate. It has been very nice. Everyone on the care staff has been good.

Everybody from, as they say, the dog catcher to chief of police is wonderful here. I think the staff is absolutely great, whoever does the hiring does a fabulous job. The managers are very good and receptive and absolutely respectful. There’s 2-3 choices of entrees every night and one half of the menu has alternative choices that are always available. The food is prepared and served nicely and the staff is wonderful. We have a lot of activities. Outside entertainment comes in twice a week, bingo is frequent, and they have arts and crafts. They have a dog club, it's pet-friendly community. They have outings to movies and plays. I use transportation all the time for doctors' appointments. They are very prompt and flexible when setting it up. They use top notch cars that are washed every day and the drivers are conscientious. The housekeeping is very good. If you spill something they are Johnny-on-the-spot, you just let reception know and Housekeeping is there in minutes. The housekeeper is wonderful, she cleans the apartments very well. The maintenance department is always on top of things if you tell them something’s broken. I think it's an excellent value for the price, overall this is a top-rated place.

The management is great. I think they are incredibly happy when they show up to work and it shows. My parents seem very happy with the food. They love the Sunday brunches once a month and the staff is very nice. They are very happy with the activities. My dad is in the glee club and my mom is going to art lessons.

They have excellent staff. They're nice, helpful, there is not one staff member that I don't like, they're all wonderful. Kathy our director is so good at what she does. The activities are excellent. We have outings, we go to restaurants twice a month and even go to the theater. The value is excellent and the residents are unbelieveably nice, I feel very safe here.

Management is super, the dining service is very good and the maintenance staff are excellent.

Management has been very good and the housekeeping is excellent. This is one of the nicest communities I have been to and it is run really well.

The food and the servers have been very good. The housekeepers are very good and maintenance too, they moved us in and hung pictures. The management team and the entire staff has been excellent. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

Management is perfect and they know everybody in this place. The food is very good, there are plenty of choices on the menu and the dining service is very nice. There are plenty of activities, the building looks good and the car they have is beautiful.

I think the management here at Mangrove Bay is fantastic. Peter, in maintenance, is wonderful. I don't have to call for help very often but when I do they come right away. I love living here and the manager, Cathy, is wonderful, she is very good to me.
