The Meadows - Assisted Living

My mom has said the food is pretty good. The rooms are pretty clean. They gather her laundry. It looked like there was staff walking around tending to people when I visited. I feel like it is a pretty good price for what she is getting and for the services. I like her space. It overlooks the courtyard which I like. She does feel safe and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it because it is clean, I have had good interactions with the people there and my mom seems clean and happy.

I think the price is a good value. The activities are pretty good. They have games, movies and an artist who comes down. People who come in and play music are really good. The driver takes us to doctor appointments twice a week. They take us shopping once a week. Once a month we go to a casino for lunch and gambling. We all look forward to those trips. They work it out really well to get us to our appointments. We have a new vehicle and it's really nice. The staff comes in and checks on us. They help us if we need help getting dressed and to breakfast. It's pretty good overall.

I'm happy with the care my mother-in-law receives there and the personnel are good there. They take care of everything I ask or talk to them about. We have not had any problems with them at all. They're very responsive, attentive, everything in the facility is neat, clean, and cared for. In Memory Care they have lots of activities for the residents. Her room is always neat and clean, the bathroom is clean. Her clothes are kept clean. If I call with questions, the care staff is Johnny-on-the-spot with answers. They seem to do a really good job.

I like all the staff, they're very respectable and they treat the residents with a kind hand so I don't have a problem with anything there. I am very happy my sister is there. Management took care of the problem right away, when it was needed. The dining staff is doing a good job, they have them trained well. They have a lot of activities. Housekeeping is doing an adequate job. I asked the maintenance man to do something and he was right on it. Maria from the healthcare department has been nothing but cooperative. I had her in the hospital about a year ago and when I brought her back, she was grinning from ear to ear when she saw Maria and the staff again. It’s home for her.

The price is pretty high but I think it is consistent with this area. We are thankful we can afford it. I am happy with the management team. If I have an issue, I bring it to them and they deal with the issue right away. I know everyone treats my father well and with respect. They offer plenty of really good things activities wise. The housekeeping staff is on top of keeping his room clean and his laundry is done consistently. The building is great and looks great all the time. The healthcare staff takes good care of him when he needs help. There have been times where he has been sick and didn't come down for a meal. They are very consistent in going to check on him.

I think it is a fair value for what my mother gets. The management staff is very responsive and they do a great job. She loves the food. They have a good variety of activities. The housekeeping is very nice and they empty the garbage all the time and they keep it clean. She sometimes drops her makeup stuff on the floor and they pick it up. The maintenance staff helped her set up her TV in a timely manner. The caregivers give her a shower twice a week and she absolutely loves that it is done in her room.

I am completely satisfied with the management team. They are very professional. I've felt very comfortable. The food is very good; my dad enjoys it quite a bit. Good variety and they also have assigned seating. He enjoys talking with his table mates. The service is perfect. Housekeeping and laundry are very good. Maintenance gets on work orders immediately. They're very nice. They even deliver his Amazon packages to his room. The transportation service works out very well. My family members have all said that I found him a great place.

The activities people do try to keep the residents occupied and try to get them involved. They do my father's laundry there. I think that's been going well. I think housekeeping does a thorough job cleaning. I think the location is convenient for many people getting off the freeway or around town. The Meadows is a clean and safe environment with great activities.

The chef has been wonderful, and the staff has been very helpful. It has always been a really great experience and has made my mom feel special. I was there yesterday and she waved to the maintenance man there, and she had nice things to say about him and how helpful he is. The caregivers are responsive to her needs. One thing I do appreciate is that if she were to miss a meal, they check on her immediately. We all appreciate that greatly.

I looked at several places and there were several factors. The facility itself was clean, well-organized and had the services I needed. The manager Shannon was very thorough in explaining how it would work with the hospice care I'm using. I think it's absolutely fair and reasonable. In general the staff seems to be happy. The management staff was thorough in their explanation, patient with my questions and worked with me. They seem to have plenty going on and people participating in those. All the rooms seem to be clean and well organized, the grounds are nice. I told my wife when my turn comes I would be alright here.
