Morningside of Athens

My daughter chose it for me, she thought it was a really nice place and thought it would be right for me. So far has been really great. I definitely would recommend it to friends. They keep you busy, there are activities to go to every day. I think management has done a good job. Overall I think it's a great environment and I'm really enjoying it here. So far the food has been really great. Everybody is nice and helpful. I really do like it very much.

My mother's only 112 pounds, and she always says "oh my gosh the food is so good, I'm stuffed." I have not met one mean person there. I visited about five places, and one of the things that made me go with Morningside is that the director, Theresa, called me once every two weeks to a month to follow-up and say "Is there anything we can do?" and I never heard from anyone else. Everything has been great and the activities they offer are excellent.

I chose this community for my sister because they had an apartment available and I needed her to be closer to me. Theresa and the staff have been very accommodating. We were able to do quite a bit of the paperwork before she actually moved. They were redoing her apartment during that time and did a very nice job with that. Blake in dining is always helpful. He is a very kind person. The rest of the staff I have interacted with is very good. They provide great activities for the residents. The building is kept up very nicely. I am very impressed. They do a really great job keeping it up. The caregivers that I have interacted with have been outstanding.

Compared to some other places, I saw that this place was a lot better. Anytime anything needed attention the maintenance staff got to it in a reasonable amount of time. Mom said she likes the food. The management staff always been good and responsive to anything I asked them about. They provided the care that was needed. I put her there because she got to keep her cat there. I think everything exceeds requirements.
