Morningside House of Leesburg

I believe the value at the community is good. Maureen, in management, has been there the entire time my mom has lived there and I appreciate that. The food quality is very good. They offer quite a few activities that are good for the other residents. They have a calendar of scheduled events which I like because I can see what is going on. They recently upgraded their heating and AC system throughout the building and that has made a huge improvement in the heat levels on the third floor where my mom lives. The caregivers respond quickly to my mother and my wife and I when we need them.

Everything has been so good that my mom has extended her stay there from a respite stay. She's been able to feel more independent there so our plan is to have her stay there for as long as she is able. Everyone seems to be very caring and sweet to her. They don't give the impression that they are just there for a job, they actually care about the residents there, which is very important. We haven't really had any issues there which have been nice and any concerns we've had have been addressed. Dwight, in maintenance, has been awesome and very responsive to my mom. They recently went through an update so everything is super new and nice. She has an actual apartment.
