Morningside House of Satyr Hill

Management seems to do fine. Mom is doing very well. I don't really hear too many complaints. Activities seem to be fine too. She's an active participant there. She doesn't stay in her room and she has been doing quite a bit. Maintenance seems fine. I haven't noticed the place being dirty at all when I'm there. They are taking care of her very well so I can't complain about anything at all.

He likes the place and they give him a lot of attention because he is one of the ones that has been there the longest. I am pleased with the community. He loves to eat and he really enjoys the food. His room is always clean and the maintenance service is very good.

The building is beautiful, the inside is very clean. There are no odors, and everybody at Morningside speaks to me as I walk through.

My husband was in the community before and this time is completely different. It is a very friendly atmosphere and they are taking care of the people. The food is better and the portions are bigger. Every time I go, I find that everything is organized and clean. Some of the staff are caring, patient, and they take care of the residents. My husband's clothes are clean and folded.

I certainly think it is competitive with other facilities. I think the charges are reasonable and fair for the services involved. I think the value is definitely up there. I am satisfied with her room. There is reasonable security to look out for the residents.The place and residents are extremely neat and clean. The residents are obviously cared for. Whenever issues come up I can always talk to the management. There has never been an issue. I think the nursing staff cares about the patients. They make decisions on what care is needed or if additional medical people need to look at them. I think those people know what they are doing.

Let me give special kudos to the woman who is the receptionist during the day, Jane. She is fantastic juggling maintenance requests, nursing requests and appointments. She keeps a level head and keeps everything straight. She is a pleasant and welcoming presence when you walk into the community. Maintenance is right on everything and can fix anything. The everyday meals seem to be very well prepared and well served by a dining room staff. They are very attentive, careful and seem to enjoy what they do and make it a pleasant experience for my friend.. The food looks great.

The sales team has accommodated all of our needs. We had an issue once, but they corrected it immediately, so I am very happy with the sales team here. My father likes the dining staff here very well, and they are accommodating. He loves the bingo, cards, and puzzles. He does all that stuff. They do everything here. The housekeeping is beautiful, and the housekeepers come every day to make up his bed and take his trash. They come every Tuesday to get his laundry, and that is fine. The building is beautiful here, and the caregivers are pretty good. Based on what we get and the fact that I don't have to worry about him, this community is worth every penny.

The condition of the vehicles is perfect. I want to compliment the driver of the van and the people in the dining room. The dining service is excellent. I think the building is wonderful. The place is clean. The houekeepers are very pleasant. The activities are wonderful. The management is accessible and respectful.

The management is really easy to talk to and they appear to do a really good job. I have eaten there in the past, and I have had no problems. It was a good experience, and my mom seems to like the food there. My mom seems pretty active. They play music and they play bingo, and she is involved in the church services. They seem to keep them pretty busy. The place is always clean, and they take care of her laundry. The building seems to be maintained pretty well. The care staff gives her her medication on time, and they help her with her showers. She doesn't have any complaints about anything.

The nurses are fast and responsive especially with regards to medication, the outside grounds are fantastic, and everything is taken care of in a timely manner. For what you pay, you get a good deal.
