Morningside House of St. Charles

It is always so clean and they are very respectful to the clients. It is very nice. They always have dining set up as a beautiful dining area. Paul loves the food. From what I see on the calendar of activities, they have a good variety. They have mass twice a week, they have exercise classes which are very beneficial to him. If there is any problem with maintenance they take care of it right away. The management staff are always there when we need them. When you have a relative there that is the most important thing that they be there when you need them. We are grateful and very pleased. I don't know what we would do without them. They are so nice and respectful.

I chose this community for my Aunt because when we took the tour I really liked the facility. The healthcare staff is pretty good, housekeeping and laundry are pretty good and the rate that we ended up getting is pretty good.

We chosing this community because my husband's Aunt was there back in the early 2000's so we knew it was a nice place. The building is always very clean and housekeeping and laundry are done very well. It's going wonderfully so far. She enjoys being in the lobby and seeing what's going on. She really hasn't been there long enough to take part in anything. My loved one loves it there and I love having people to take care of her.

My mom was there and recommended it to my mother-in-law and she's there too, both for about a year now. The management is excellent, we haven't had any problems. Christa is wonderful. If I have any problems I go right in and she takes care of it. I see no problem with the food. The wait staff is wonderful, very accommodating and friendly. They know who likes what. When my family goes in they know what we like, ask us, are very accommodating. There is always some activity going on. Every time I go in, they're doing something to keep the residents occupied. I never see any problems with apartment cleaning and the cleaning lady is wonderful. The value is great, I don’t have to worry, I know my mom and mother-in-law are taken care of.

My wife's room is more than adequate for what she needs. She has a nice big closet and workable bathroom area. That seems to work just fine. I think the food and activities at this community are fine. This has been a good situation for both me and my wife.

Any questions that I've every had or any concerns that I may have had have all been addressed by management. Nothing looks out of order and she hasn't gained or lost weight, so that's good.

Every time I've been there, there is always something going on for the residents. Singing, dancing, bingo, crafts, exercise and other stuff. Housekeeping is also good and everything seems to be working in terms of maintenance. As for dining, as far as I know the servers have been god. She hasn't complained at all.

They do a great job with the activities. Every time I've been there, they have them in the living room area doing things rather than just sitting and watching the TV. They're signing or they're throwing around balloons and throwing around horseshoes and that makes me happy. My mother seems to like the food, she's been eating it. In terms of housekeeping, her room always looks clean.

When I go visit Mom, I see the activities going all the time. There is always someone in there doing something. Mom is happy with the laundry service they provide. They do a good job when they come and clean the room, vacuum the floor and clean the bathrooms. She loves the guy from maintenance. He comes and checks things out and she knows he can come and fix things for her.

I feel like we are getting a good value here. My friend is a picky eater and she likes the food a lot here and talked about when I visit. She enjoys the activities offered. The housekeeping and maintenance have been helpful to her. The building always looks nice. It is more like a hotel, very nice. I feel she is getting good care from the staff.
