Pavilion at Great Hills

The dining has been very good and my dad is doing all the activitites he would want, he really enjoys the art department and art group, that's been very good for him. I really like the healthcare staff and feel like they've done a good job with my dad, and they do a great job of keeping everything clean, I've been pleased.

I think it is always good food. I think they do an excellent job on preparation. It is always well maintained. I find them to be always clean and you don't get the odors you would at other assisted living or memory care facilites. I think they do a good job with mom's care. They always seem to have compassion which isn't always easy to find.

All in all, I think we are getting good service for the money. I think everybody in administration does a great job. Matt always has his door open. If I have any comments to make I can just wheel right in and say so. We have a new activities director who just started and seems to be a ball of fire. I am not a bingo fan but we have a card game called Skip Bo. We have arts and crafts and exercise which I don't participate in. We have movies in the evenings. Every Tuesday we have popcorn and that is always popular. On Sunday afternoons we play Mexican Train Dominoes. We keep pretty busy. Fernando is helpful in maintenance if there is something that he can take care of. The care staff keeps track of my blood pressure and weight. I guess they do pretty well.

The value is pretty good overall. It seems like a good place and everyone seems to be friendly and do what they can to make your stay good there. The food is pretty good overall and they seem to have good stuff. The activities seem to be alright. I see the posters they have hanging up about them. Housekeeping does a pretty good job with the cleaning and laundry and maintenance has been pretty good. The transportation goes pretty well and my mom gets housecalls from the nurse practitioner and says good things about that.

Everyone on the management team has been positive and helpful. We like the staff and it's all been positive. The food quality has been good. My mom finally told them that they can do her laundry and they brought it back folded nice and neat. There seems to be a really good activity variety and a lot of opportunities. Abby and Gloria, in healthcare, have been fantastic to my mom. We've had a long standing relationship with both ladies and I know they're taking good care of my mom. We wouldn't have moved my mom here from another state if we didn't already have a good experience there.

The management is very good and very responsive on email and telephone. From what I can tell my mom does enjoy the food. My mom's room always looks fine. The laundry and care received is fine. Compared to other places I think it is a good value. It is high regardless but how it compares to other places the value is good.

The location is great. It is well maintained and very clean. We knew it was the place for him when we walked in. The food is good here. My brother is diabetic and they monitor his food. The activities are good and he does participate from time to time. If he needs anything repaired we just let them know and the maitenance staff will take care of it. Everything is going well here.
