The Pines, A Merrill Gardens Community

When I walk through the hallways, everyone knows my name and people are very friendly, which rubs off on the residents. The staff is incredible here, they're very good, and the residents are very friendly. Everyone says hello. Overall, I feel very safe, comfortable and I am very satisfied with the community.

The healthcare staff do a good job, management is helpful and everyone seems comfortable working there. The building and its common areas are done very nicely, always being cheery and decorated for events. They provide things activities for the residents during the day and the dining experience is great. All in all, I think it's a good place.

There are plenty of activities and from what I saw, they look fun to do. All of the healthcare staff know my dad and they're fantastic with him. The maintenance staff is amazing and their response time is incredible. The food tastes great, always looks good and the selection is also very satisfactory. Management has been able to answer all of our question, they're spectacular and very accommodating. Overall, we're just really grateful that we were able to get him in there because it's been a wonderful experience for him. I have already recommended it family and friends.

The management was excellent. Everything that they did over there was top of the line. The care staff went over and above of what I expected. They made me very comfortable. The people there are wonderful, the staff and the residents. The chef was excellent. I am kind of an amateur cook myself and I was impressed with the things that he did like his pork roast and fish, things that are difficult to cook. He did both of those excellently.

My housekeeper is efficient and humble, she knows what she is doing. The Chef is fantastic and the dining service is outstanding. Management has been responsive and there is usually more than I want to do activity wise in one day, so I feel comfortable here. They also lock the doors at 8PM, so it's safe.

The community is well worth the money. The management staff is extremely helpful, and healthcare staff work dilligently to ensure my mother receives the best care possible. The food is pretty good, and the community is clean and well kept. We are very happy with this place.

I think John is the new Manager, I think he's doing a good job and I see him around. The maintenance is great.

The other residents all seem to the enjoy the activities available, they try really hard to provide opportunities on the calendar. My housekeeper is just great because she cleans every week and takes care of my stuff. The transportation service has been fine, the vehicles are maintained and when I have an appointment, it's always available, which is what counts.

I'm always very satisfied with the food. They take us to lunch and we all like that. I'm very happy with the transportation, their drivers are very careful and considerate. They do plan different things for us to do and they take us to the doctors.

Management is always responsive. I think they do have a lot of good activities and they try to get my mom involved.
