The Pointe at Cedar Park

My mom has lived there for four years and they've always been great. And the way they have handled this whole pandemic thing is impressive, incredible, wonderful, fabulous. I can't say enough good things about the staff that's there. It's just remarkable. My brothers and I would like to pass on our thanks to the entire staff. They are doing things during this time like bringing Bingo cards with meals and they have prizes. I know they took residents into the hallway one by one and did hallway bowling and they've done crafts in the room. They're making every effort to keep people entertained.

Management has always been good to me. They always respond and are as good as it gets. This community is like a home. It is always nice and clean when I go visit. The caregivers are constantly checking on my parents. Overall this is a good place.

The price is fair and my mom feels happy there. The healthcare staff is doing a great job and there is enough of them. The maintenance is good and the building looks perfect. Whoever does activities is keeping her busy as best they can because she always seems to have things to do. She has plenty of food and plenty of snacks. The Director is awesome, always communicates and I've never had a problem getting answers to questions. Overall, it's a really good choice and she enjoys herself.

Most of the time she likes the food. They do a nice job of working their staff and getting the meals out in a timely manner. Anything we have need maintenance has responded really quickly to work on. The building is clean and well maintained. The care she is receiving is good. Whenever I need something from any of the management team they are prompt to respond to me. They've been great.

I feel like the management is very good. They go above and beyond. I feel like they bend over backwards for her. They do their job. I feel like the dining service is pretty good and the activity director, Kat, is excellent. She is always looking for new activities and is always responsive. I think the housekeepers do their jobs. The caregivers are very timely about getting her med sheets if we have to take her to the cardiologist and we haven't had issues with medication. The price is competitive for this area and I think we are getting a good value. I see smiling staff and smiling family members here. The staff and residents seem content here.

I'm really pleased with this community. All of the care staff that I have met have been good. They're really great, they're nice, and they're respectful. I haven't had any problems with them. The housekeeping services are good. The food looks great. I think my mom feels like she's at home. I think everybody has been great. The management team has been just great and helpful, and I haven't had any problems. They've all been really nice, and I feel like my mom is safe there. She'll tell me that she likes where she is at and that she doesn't want to leave.

My mother has been at the community over a year, and the place is a great fit for her. It's just small enough with not being huge. She knows everyone and it's more of a homey place, so she is very happy there. The cost is in check with everything else, and she likes the apartment. If she has any concerns and asks the healthcare staff questions, they're right on it. The maintenance is good, and everything seems to be working well. The apartment gets consistently cleaned well, and the housekeeping girl that does it is awesome. There is a variety of activities for everyone no matter what you're into, and they also invite her to come down for all sorts of stuff. She seems to really like the food quality and menu variety, and they have a great chef. Management is on top of things when you call, and if you're looking for them, they get back to you. Overall, everything from my mother's perspective has been positive.

The room is lovely. It had enough room for her bed, a bookcase, she had a good size closet. The wheelchair could be wheeled in and out of the shower. It was great. They have a great schedule in activities. They have a couple things a day. They have a regular ice cream social, bus trips and all kinds of things. The place is well maintained and doesn't smell. The director keeps the home health, doctors, and nurses all singing from the same hymn book. She keeps it all coordinated and information is at the ready.

The staff there are rocking it right now. They are just incredible. I cannot say enough about those people there. I am in tears; he is well taken care of. I will cry talking about Wendy. She went above and beyond. The food and dining service has been wonderful. It is meticulous, and very well maintained outside. They make sure he is clean, that he has gone to the bathroom, they even do his teeth and comb his hair and that he is bathed. They are very good, they are wonderful. The people there, his face brightens up when someone walks in.

I'm just appreciative of everything that they do. I feel very comfortable with my mom being there and know that they will call me and communicate with me. They're just very atttentive. I love the fact that they all help each other. She has her main caretakers, and she hasn't complained about anything. I think that they are taking good care of her. They've been very helpful with whatever is needed. The maintenance man, Tom, is great. The maintenance team is very responsive. He's on it. He's running all the time. The laundry service is working out pretty well. It's getting done, and they have a schedule. My mom loves the bingo, and she's been active in a lot of other things. They have stuff all the time. My mom is having a good time. I had Thanksgiving dinner there, and the food was excellent. My mom hasn't complained about the food. Jessican showed me around and was just very personable and concerned about my mom's needs. The management team is available on the weekends. My mom says she loves it, and I feel good about it. They treat you like family. They really care about the residents, and they treat all of us like a big family.
