Prairie Green at Dixie Crossing

The value for me is very good. I have recommended the community to a lot of my friends and I've had other families go there. When issues come up I have no problem picking up the phone. I get tremendous response and I'm very happy.

I was impressed with the activities when I first saw the place. They have a great selection of choices. My experience with the care services has been good, and he really enjoys the dining. I could probably do a commercial for you. Two of my grandkids went to visit him, and they told me they thought it was the Conrad Hilton. They thought it was so nice.

My sister lives at the community and I really feel like they're taking care of the residents. The nursing staff is good, pleasant, they help out and do whatever they need to do. The community is beautiful and all around gorgeous. When you come in the front or side door, you never smell anything foul, which is something I really love. Her place is always nice and I can tell that the bathrooms are done. They have enough activities and they're consistently offered. I've had good food there and I have to give credit where credit is due. Whenever I need the management for something, they're always good and accessible. It's peacful and quiet. Overall, a lot of these communities are awful, but these residents are living in a castle and they have nothing to do but enjoy what they have.

I love this community, and my father says he likes where he is. The healthcare staff is taking care of him, and that is all I need them to do, but they do so much more. I have never felt like I was bothering someone or that something wasn't their job, which means the world to me. The building and apartment maintenance is satisfactory. Housekeeping services work tremendously well with me, and they're both extremely helpful and kind. When the time came for a planned surprise birthday party, my family came in from nine states, and the activity staff were more than willing to help. My father doesn't want to go out to restaurants because he loves their food, and the dining service is very attentive to him. Overall, I feel comfortable enough without me being there every day to know he is still being cared of, considered, and watched after. The management team is phenomenal. I am so appreciative of their help and heart. They're embracing, kind, and even tempered. They shouldn't change a thin. I love Prairie Green at Dixie Crossing.

As far as trips and things around here, they have nice activities for us to do. They keep us busy. The young man who takes care of my apartment does a very good job, and if I have a problem, maintenance is there. The building is nice, and my apartment is nice. The caregivers are friendly and respectful. I love it here.

My mother has a beautiful apartment, very clean, new carpet. The move-in coordination really made things easy for us. I ate there once and thought it was pretty good and they have an array of activities, bingo, shopping trips, bible class, a lot here. When mom needed something fixed, the maintenance man came in on his day off and fixed it. From the receptionist to the Head of Nursing it's all been stellar. They made mother’s transition easy and have continued to make her stay enjoyable.

Management has been so helpful and they bend over backwards to help. My sister in law says the food is good, they give the residents a variety of choices and everyone in the dining room is very friendly and helpful. When we visit the building and grounds are always super clean. The nurses are very nice and the aides are all accommodating. Considering what other people are paying, this is a bargain.

When your parents have needs and means, I think these are fabulous places, I really do. I am happy with Mom there. The nursing director is good. I haven't had an issue. Generally they will call me if they have a question. They have lots of activities and Mom participates in a lot of them.

I feel like management is very attentive to my mother and our families needs during this transition period for her. The activities and housekeeping are good. I am impressed with how they keep the building inside and out and I am impressed with the gardens out back. The caregivers are wonderful and very attentive.

The staff are very nice and mellow and none of them have attitudes. This community is beautiful. Everything is clean, neat and in order when I visit. How you are being taken care of is worth more than all the money in the world. You can't pay too much to be taken care of.
