The Reserve at North Dallas

I would say to the new people that the place is kept clean, the service is good, the apartments are kept clean, and the food is good. The service is good. You have a good assortment of food too. All the people who work here are very polite and nice.

Right now we have the best set of aides as far as I'm concerned since I've been here. I have not used transportation many times, but when I have it has been great. Our driver does a fabulous job. He is polite and just such a nice guy. It is really a pleasure. I was not here when it happened, but my apartment flooded when I was in rehab. Maintenance worked very diligently to get it back in shape before I got home. I think they've got a lot of activities. They have entertainment and there are things to pick from every day of the week if you want to do them. I am very happy with the food. I haven't been to the dining room in about a month because I have not been doing well, but they bring me my meals. I have been pretty content.

Everything looks nice and I'm pleased. I'm enjoying my experience here. I like everything they have on the menu and I can bring home leftovers. I love their salads and the dessert, the ice cream bar. The staff is very positive, upbeat and smiling. It makes you feel better and they're good with introducing you to people. The front desk is very helpful. Transportation is super, they're on time and they're very pleasant and good drivers. I don't have any complaints.

When I step back and think of what I get, I'm very well satisfied. I think it's well-priced. The activities department is solid. I think housekeeping is very good. I think they have good leadership and good staff. Most people I talk to here have good experiences with housekeeping. We needed a special service and booked the transportation here. Bob made sure it happened; made sure we were picked up. He went out of his way to make sure it was perfect.

We feel very safe and there are no problems. Everything we participate in is good and it appears that there are plenty of things for people to do. One thing that is nice is that they have happy hour, they have French night, Mexican night and Chinese New Year. Those are nice. The housekeeping is excellent. Our cleaning lady comes every other week and she does an outstanding job. We have no problem with the laundry facilities. The maintenance is good. We have no problems with them and they are very responsible.

Everything about the place, I love. People are friendly and they try to take care of you. I love the food. The food is delicious. The chef we have now knows how to season food and he knows how to put it together. He has imagination. You don't have to wait too long. I do go to the communion service on Mondays for Catholics, and I have gone to the art class - oil painting, which I've never done before in my life. They have a lot of things. They have entertainment that comes in, Bingo, Bridge, Rummikub, all sorts of things like that that keep you entertained. When I get to where I can move better, I'm going to get into the fitness exercising. The maintenance team has done a very good job of doing things for me. We bought a toilet seat that was higher for handicap, but the one my daughter and I bought didn't do the job. They took that one out and replaced it with another one that works! The bus will take me to my doctor at Baylor. They come back and get you pretty quick, and they don't make you wait a long time. The busses are definitely in good condition, and they are comfortable to ride in.

Michael and Linnette, in management, are superior as far as I'm concerned. I love the transportation service. I think it's great. They're so courteous. My favorite is Jackie and Asad. I love Asad. Jackie always opens the door for you. They open the door wherever you're going. When you call in, he comes as soon as he can. The food is great. The service is good. I love the soups, but I love everything else too. I'm happy here. I'm content.
