The Residences at Thomas Circle

I'd recommend it. I thought the food was good. The dining staff was friendly, the service was great. I think the management staff was attentive and they managed their needs and took care of whatever we needed in a timely fashion for the eight years my mom was there. I loved it.

It had all the things I needed due to my health, that's why I moved in. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. It was a bright, warm, friendly environment so then I decided I wanted to be here. It was convenient and a great location and I feel like I am getting my money’s worth. The staff is very responsive. Anything that needs to be addressed as far as my health is taken care of. I pushed my button the paramedics came and everyone was concerned. I got to see that it was efficient and it worked. I feel very safe because of the 24 hour concierge and the cameras. They always have different activities to keep us interested. I like the variety that has been offered here. They are always very responsive no matter what I need and very pleasant. They are awesome. I enjoy the food and it is always nicely seasoned. The service is very good. Anything I need they are very responsive and very attentive. The driver is courteous, helped us on and off and is a safe driver. The vehicle is clean. Denise, Shelby, Scott and Lea have been outstanding. They check on me and make sure I am ok. I just love it here!

I think it is just a fabulous experience. They people provide an opportunity for all needs, even spiritual. That is not something I anticipated. The calendar of everything is extraordinary. I've gotten to know Nancy really well and I've just been flabbergasted by everything that is available to people that are there I can't think of anything that I could imagine them adding on that isn't already available. My brother has no complaints at all. I spent a lot of time at the library, the patio, just everything; I was always delighted when people came to visit me because it gave me the opportunity to take people on a tour. I knew that regardless of what room I took into that it would be immaculate. It gave me a sense of pride as if it was my own home.

They're responsibly giving oversight to all residents at Thomas Circle. I find it's an excellent menu and Maintenance has been very satisfactory. The two drivers I know do a superb job. I go to Politics & Prose bookstore three times a month. The driver is very efficient at taking us, and picking us up and driving back. I would highly recommend Thomas Circle to any prospective resident as I feel very safe and comfortable.

The Head Director has had plenty of experience in this type of situation we have here. I like the one we have. The activities are wonderful. I have no problem with the laundry. If you need help with a dishwasher, then you can put a request in and they're in the next day. The drivers are very good, know the city, and are hospitable. My husband is in Memory Care and they're very good with keeping me up to date with what is going on with him. Everyone would like to pay less, but from what I understand with other communities, I am satisfied with this one.

I think it is pretty spot on, well-staffed and well-run and a pretty clean facility. My mother's apartment is very nice and she feels safe living there. I have met a good number of people in management before she moved in and since she has been there. They are all interested in her and engaged and responsive to her needs. I appreciated that. I think a couple of things slipped but were fixed without any problem. They are doing a great job. She enjoys the food and the socializing there. I had an opportunity to have a couple of meals with her and the quality and the variety of food is very good. She has not jumped in to too many activities. Nancy is terrific. My mom has her eye on the calendar and will be involved in many things there. She got the first go around with housekeeping today. The woman who is in charge of her floor introduced herself earlier this week so my mom knew what was going to happen and when. I talked to her today and she had a good experience with it. I am hoping that continues to be a wonderful and smooth experience.

I love my apartment. Denise is very outgoing and very available. She invited me to come visit the facility before I chose it and that was nice. I am a vegetarian and they have options with no meat. The food is excellent. They are amazing. I have never seen so many things for people to do. They make sure the residents know what is going on. If I was ready to stop working and live full time in an independent living home this would be at the top of my list.

Every time we went, we got a good feeling from the staff. Every resident came up to us and said, “Hi, my name is so-and-so, I'm on this floor, and you'll love it here.” There was no one who said to run for it. Denise Kasper was wonderful and very helpful in making this transition happen, making us comfortable, and helping with my mom. It looks like a nice hotel. It is very clean, has a warm feeling, and has a nice atmosphere. One of the reasons we liked Thomas Circle is because of all the activities. She is already fully involved in the classes and outings.
