Sabal Palms

All the communities in the area are all about the same price but this community is brand new and beautiful. The activities are pretty good. My mother's room appears to always be clean. The caregivers have the patience of saints and they tell the residents that they love them.

The management is very good. They have been doing a great job with my mom. My mom says there are plenty of dining selections. I have not seen any issues with that at all. I go there twice a week and it always looks clean. They take care of the laundry and there are no issues. The common areas are very nice. It is fine. The room is fantastic. It looks like my mom's house. Everything is working and no issues or concerns. The care givers all are very good. They all are very friendly and attentive. They know my mom by name which is a good thing.

There are plenty of activities to do and the housekeeping has always been very good. Everybody treats my father very well there, they treat him with respect, they take him seriously if he complains about something and their response time is really quite good which is one thing I was worried about. When you press the button, they come, so I'm very pleased with that, we've been in some places where you press the button and didn't see anybody for fifteen minutes. All the people that come in direct contact on a daily basis are wonderful.

We are quite happy with the situation. When we were forced into having to do something we checked out a lot of different options. There are not a lot of good ones around. We felt that we were given the right information and the staff helped with the change over for her. We are happy with the way things worked out so far. We have been very happy. We believe we made the right choice. We think the housekeeping is great. I have never seen any problem since she has been in there. Everything looks pretty nice every time we go. My mom seems to be very happy with the staff. I actually feel the staff has been very, very good.

I chose it because my mom was in a rehab and the social worker in there told me about Sabal Palms. I went to look and it's such a beautiful place. They were very nice, took me on a tour, and were just wonderful to me. I just felt it was the right place for my mom. The community is beautiful, everything is taken care of. No odors. You can smell the food when it's cooking which is good. I have eaten there a couple of times and I think it's good. My mother raves about the food. Normally she is very picky about food and she loves it. The servers are very good. I'm totally satisfied with the care I feel she is fine. I think the activities are great. She just started going to bingo, she went to the wine hour, and she went to a party the other day. She hasn’t been there long and will be going out more and more as she meets more people there. I think the value is wonderful. She likes it there and it’s taken a huge burden off me. I would definitely recommend it. If your parents need to go to a place, I would definitely go to Sabal Palms.
