Settlers Park

Settlers seemed to be a perfect fit, she loved the food and the people down there, she loved the activities and everything about it. I don't know the caregivers but I assume they're good people, she likes them and they like her, the few I have talked to. Housekeeping and maintenance looks good, they completely redid her room before she moved in, they put fresh carpet in, the room was very nice.

I've been involved with them for seven years and I have never come up with a complaint yet. I haven't seen a meal there that I wouldn't eat. There are plenty activities available. Whether a person wants to take them in or not is their call. With that age of people I think they have enough they can deal with. I have been very pleased with the care and nursing my mom gets there.

I think the housekeepers and care staff that take care of my mother are wonderful people. The med techs are phenomenal. That is a job I could never do. My mother is satisfied with the services she has received here over the past four years and she feels comfortable in the community.

In comparison to a lot of the other places I went to, it was probably at the top of the list for the most affordable for the type of facility that it is Management is always right on the ball and their food seems to be great, every time I ate there it was top of the line and my loved one is happy with it. They have activities and send me a monthly schedule, they do keep up the activities really well and they have a reading group with the resident, they have a very good monthly list that they do and keep them active. They've been keeping up with the cleaning very well and they take very good care of maintenance. The facility is great, I'm impressed with how good they take care of everyone, and they always let me know what's going on.

We have experience with the community, we had a good friend of hers and ours stayed there once, so our friend moved in. I know she is in amazing room and she has been very satisfied with housekeeping and laundry. She just raves about the food when we're on the phone with her. There's never any smell when you come in, it's a lovely building, and we’re very pleased with the building. I know her first couple weeks she was getting amazing care, her attitude towards staff told us that. We're very thankful for the service that they provide. They do an excellent job.
