The Sheridan at Chesterfield

Everybody there is amazing. I am so impressed with how much they care about the residents. I think the food is great. I'm amazed at how much they offer. My dad is basically blind so he can't do a whole lot, but he participates as much as he can, and I think that is wonderful. The caretakers are fantastic. They keep cleaning his wounds and are doing a great job. It's expensive, but we get a lot for it.

From the day that my mother came to the facility, they greeted her like she was a celebrity. Everybody was kind, courteous, knew their job, and was welcoming to my mother with open arms. They made her feel at home. Without a doubt management has an open-door policy. My mother says the food is delicious. On the days she does not want to go down for service she gets room service and she is elated with the service. There are daily activities. Every time we've been there her room has been very tidy. Everybody is attentive to my mother, her needs, wants. There is nothing they haven’t attended to. If they have concerns they contact either me or my brother. They are very up on everything. My mom seems like she's really thriving there.

I feel like it's the perfect place for my mom right now. I think the caregivers are very attentive to her. She gets all her medications and they check on her frequently. She enjoys participating in the activities. She goes to a lot of them. She likes the food and is happy with it. We love Carmen, the manager. The building is great. It's new. It's nice.
