The Sheridan at Creve Coeur

The chef there is the most incredible human being that I have ever met not only service but the care to the residents beyond the kitchen. He is phenomenal. The food is outstanding; I wouldn't mind him cooking for me every day. There are two housekeepers who are exceptional. I just have to mention something and they are right there to do it. The maintenance is amazing. The maintenance people are good people. It feels like a family. It is not an easy thing to find at this stage; to get such support is very comforting. There are some exceptional people in the healthcare services department. I have never seen anyone work as hard as Jazmine. She makes sure all residents look their best with such care. She is remarkable. The expectations are that care is safe and I think the staff demonstrates that.

I think it's a very good value, the food's great at The Sheridan, and I think it's helped my aunt start eating again. She likes the food, it's very good, and they do good things with different types of food. It's great. The head managers stay in contact and I'm informed with the developments of what's going on at The Sheridan. I think there are enough activities and my aunt has been involved in some of them. It's a good variety. When I'm there everything is clean and the housekeepers do a good job of keeping her apartment clean. The aides, nurses, and techs are doing well, they keep me informed of what's going on, so it's good. Everyone I've come in contact with is very respectful, friendly, and takes good care of my aunt. I'm very satisfied with her situation and the care she receives.

I don't have to worry about my mom. I am grateful that we were able to get my mom into the Sheridan. I have been very satisfied. Anytime I bring up an issue or a question the staff is listening and they are responsive. The food is really good. The chef is very attentive and he likes feedback. The staff is very attentive and she feels comfortable in the dining room. Archie in maintenance is very reliable. He is very responsive. I thought the move would be very hard but Sandy made everything easy.

The management staff has all been so good. Tisha running the nurses is excellent, she's a great listener and a very caring individual, she loves to problem solve and if you have a problem she gets it done. Steve, who runs everything, is also just excellent at his job. Every single person in there are just a great team, they work really well together which I love and I like the way they treat the people, it's a very comfortable feeling. Mark, the chef, is awesome, he's really understanding, he works my mom her and does a great job, I just really appreciate the people there. I think they really do an excellent job and the rooms are clean, they keep them clean, and the building is beautiful.

I love The Sheridan, and to anybody who listens, I recommend it. Dad was only there for four months before passing, so I don’t have that much long-term experience with it, but for us, everything was great. For what we were paying it was, it was outstanding. Staff to patient ratio is excellent. Everybody in the care department was great. Always very patient with my dad and really tried to keep him comfortable and happy, and kept up with his medications. When he went on hospice they worked well with the hospice company. He was well taken care of right up to the end. Management is really good at communication, and things are taken care of. They're always available, and when I had a question they answered anything. There was always some activity going on. They always tried to encourage him, even when they were pretty sure he wouldn’t. Always a good variety of activities, trying new things, getting people involved. His room was always pretty clean, no issues with the cleaning, and the maintenance staff was always very nice. I always thought he was well taken care of, and I never had any issues or complaints.

The Sheridan has been the best place that we have experienced in terms of nursing homes. They do on all levels everything that they can possibly do to take care of things. Kesia, the Director of Nursing, has been extememly helpful on any kind of question or need on my end. The staff has learned how to manage my mom and how to intereact with her. The nurses have all been super friendly. They always greet you and know my name. I think that the management are all extremely care giving professionals. They have been an excellent support and I am grateful to them for making this chapter a sucessful one for her.

I think the value is excellent. The dining staff have been very accommodating. My mother-in-law has always had a great appetite. They indulge her desire for dessert. Judging by the daily report and the interactions that I have had I think the activities are very good. These ladies bring her to the activities and draw her in. They always seem to be on top of things and the maintenance has been excellent. I very much appreciate the security. You can't come in without them knowing. Someone has to unlock the door for you. I jus tthink that they do a very good job.

It's a great community. I found Management to be very helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. There were many activities available. The Sheridan blew my dad away with the Housekeeping. Maintenance is always helpful and they would fix anything that needed it as soon as they could. The maintenance staff is great, always responsive. The caregivers are very good. The directors and staff were all very accessible, they would always stop by to talk to him and answer any questions he had.For my dad's situation, it has worked out perfectly.

I'm very pleased. I'm very thankful that we found them. I'm very pleased with the housekeeping. Her bed is made every day, the laundry's done, it does not smell in the room and it did at the other facility she was at. The whole place is clean. Justin is on top of things, he replaced the refrigerator because he didn't want us to have a damaged one, he's been wonderful. I like the communication there. I like the way they huddle at the end of the day and pass things on so the night crew knows. The healthcare staff have just done everything that they told me they would do. They've taken care of her and for that I am grateful.

I have a family member at the community and I'd say the price is fair for what she is receiving. The management and care staff are all very accessible and responsive when needed. We haven't had any issues.
