The Sheridan at Green Oaks

We chose The Sheridan because of the people and the community. The people we dealt with during the move-in were well prepared and did an excellent job. I felt quite comfortable with them. They were professional and represented your firm quite well. The value is high based on the perception of what I expected to be delivered. Every meal is above par. Desserts have been excellent. Everything is put away and the room is neat and orderly. The Med Techs are to be complimented. She does all she can to make sure the residents are cared for.

I liked the whole look of the place. It was just very comfortable and I thought the apartments were very nice. And it's new. So far it's been a real positive experience for my family. My mom says the servers are all wonderful and the food is good. It does seem like they have nice activities going on. They've been wonderful; my mom really likes all of the caregivers. She has said everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful.

The leadership is excellent. They are very caring and empathetic. The activities are very good. They are well-planned and well thought out. Housekeeping is very good. They are very accommodating and conscientious. They are very empathetic and caring towards the residents. The community is beautiful and has been well-maintained. It has been great. I have two friends and one of them has already moved one of their parents in and the other friend is working on moving her family member into the community.

I chose this community because I saw the staff seemed to enjoy their work and they interacted well with the residents. It seemed like a good fit for my parents. I have had several opportunities to talk to the Executive Director about various subjects. He was willing to listen and follow up on things I brought up. Leslie is very helpful. The quality of food and the diversity is excellent. Housekeeping is excellent. They are very helpful. The staff is very kind and they truly want to care for the residents.

It's like a 5 Star hotel here. The management is very good and they make sure that when they meet us, they remember our names. They have plenty of activities and there is something for everybody. The housekeeping is very good and they come bi-weekly. They have a vehicle and a van, I have used both. I use a walker so I need a little assistance to get onto the bus, but everybody is there to help and the driver is excellent. When my husband passed, I had so much compassion and warmth shown to me by the staff and by the residents that we have. It was very comforting and important to me. I was brand new and it was wonderful.

All of the staff has been great. Everyone seems to care about us. I've been taking the exercise classes and gone on the outings. They've been very good. Everybody raves about them. The Activities Director is doing a nice job of planning activities that people are interested in. I think it is a beautiful building.

It is expensive, but the services they make available have a good value to them. The management staff tries very hard and they listen. They made several accommodations for my mom that they did not have to do. The dining room has an excellent menu and excellent food. They have been very accommodating. She mentioned that she enjoys playing gin, so they started to get a group together to play gin. The housekeeping is excellent. They do a great job keeping it clean. They absolutely respond in a timely manner. She feels very safe here.

My husband was at another facility for two and a half years before moving here and so I have a point of comparison. The management staff has been on top of everything. The food is very good. The residents are kept busy with things that promote brain use. Housekeeping has been fine; I have not had any complaints.

Resident has been at The Sheridan at Green Oaks since June 2017. Overall they have some exceptional people there at the main desk, they go out of their way. I think they have a variety of things, they offer a lot.

My mom has told me she likes it there. I'm thankful for the people that take care of my mom. All of the caregivers are excellent. They're always very cooperative. They never hesitate. They're wonderful. I was impressed that they had a nice menu and I've been told the chef is good. Housekeeping is very good so far. They haven't lost any of her clothes as far as I know. Her clothes always seem nice and clean and her bed is always made the management staff are very, very good, especially Brittany, who is in charge of memory care. All of them are excellent.
