The Sheridan at Mason

I've never found a place like this in four years. It is amazing how my mother has gone from sitting at a nurse’s station with her head down to pretty much the life of the party. It's amazing what they can do for someone with just the small things they are doing. It is amazing how they can plan activities that stimulate mental issues and make these people feel like they aren't stuck in a chair in front of a nurse’s station waiting to die. It is amazing! They ask for suggestions and they are just wonderful. They have a couple days a week that you can request to be taken somewhere on your own in addition to the times that transportation is available for outings. They really try to work with every resident individually on their needs. The managers are always present within the facility for residents and family members to see. They make themselves known and are not just behind a door. They also participate in other things other than just management type issues. It's just amazing.

It's a little expensive but it's fully covered so it's pretty good. I'd recommend them. My grandmother's happy, the caregivers are nice and do the medications mostly at the right time. Maintenance is excellent, Chris is amazing. We love Christy and Kim. I think it's a good place.

I think the value is fine. I would live there myself. My interaction with the management is terrific. We think they do a good job with the activities. Everything seems to work ok with no maintenance issues. There haven't been any complaints from my mom about the dining. We think they do a good job with the activities. The staff there is very nice and friendly.

I think we got what we paid for. The staff care and tried to be on top of things. They helped with all of the paperwork involving long term care. My mom always had something good to eat. She was able to get a backup meal if she wanted, like a grilled cheese. They were attentive to her in the dining room area. They would bring food to her room if she wasn't feeling well. Housekeeping was fine. They cleaned once a week. There would be someone pop in occasionally just to ask how she was doing so they were nice to her. They care and tried to be on top of things. She liked it a lot and I wish we were still there.

It is expensive, but as long as I can handle it we will be here. They handle the people here very well. Sam tries really hard to get everybody into the activities. They make different decorations for each season. They do a pretty good job with the activities. John from maintenance is always on the ball, maintenance is great.

They seem to do a really good job of keeping everything nice. The healthcare staff answered my questions where I've had specific needs for my aunt; they always seem to follow through on it. It seems like they always have something going on and they're always trying to get her to participate. She's always doing something when I'm there so I think they do a good job with activities. I think they're definitely well planned and they try to find things they can get the group to do together. The management staff has been real good about contacting me when I call and when I go over there. I really would recommend this place to anybody that is in this situation.
