The Sheridan at Park Ridge

I think everything is great. The care staff has been very communicative. They keep me in the loop and let me know what is going on. They seem very well trained in memory care and know the issues that residents have. It's a brand new building, and everything seems to be working fine. There are no problems with the housekeeping. I haven't seen any issues with the food and dining, and I think the service is great. I have had a good experience so far, and there are really no issues to report.

Management is excellent. They took the time to bring six or seven of us family members on the tour. They answered all our questions and provided us with a meal. They were very caring and heartfelt. We were shocked because we were so impressed with the taste and the quality of the food. We couldn't believe it was that good. The dining service has been wonderful. They let us use the little dining room when she first moved in because there were 12 of us. We felt like we were in a restaurant, and they couldn't have been better. Housekeeping has come twice and has done a good job. Her apartment is beautiful. Maintenance really went out of their way. They really worked hard to get a cabinent changed before she moved in. We were about to bring her home from the hospital and needed her wheelchair. We didn't even ask them for it, but they brought it over for us. They brought their van to bring her home too. The driver waited for her and really made her feel like family. What they did for her was great. The caregivers are all good with her. THey just make her feel like family. They check in on her and are there for her when she needs them.

My mother is safe, and the care is amazing. I pop in all hours of the day or night and not once have I had a sense of 'Oh my God, what is going on?' They are very patient. I can't say enough. It is absolutely a great experience. Natalie is amazing. She is accessible, which I think is important. She is very visible and very involved. She is very objective and realistic in walking family members through expectations. The maintenance staff actually put together a new dresser that I had delivered. They are amazing, responsive, and helpful. They are all exceptional. Jeffrey, the nurse, is like the best thing that could happen to memory care. He is calm and compassionate. He is very respectful of everyone. He could not be more kind and gentle. Hannah, an aide, is an absolute delight. She is kind and patient. The servers in the dining room are unbelievable.

Honestly, everybody from the housekeeping to the nurses to the care givers are angels over there. It gives our family so much peace. The care staff is excellent. They find things right away. We are so comfortable with the healthcare there. They are accessible and responsive. THey are respectful and knowledgeable and very patient with us. The maintenance man helped us when we moved in. He was really nice, and he stopped what he was doing to help us. Everything is running well in the building. The housekeeping is so good. We are so impressed. They are coming on a regular basis, and her room is spotless. I love th dining. The service was fabulous, and the dinner was fabulous The variety is good. THe management team is nice and compassionate. They work with you. They help us understand what is happening, what is going to happen, and what they can do for us. We are so happy. We are happier than we thought we would be.
