The Sheridan at South Jordan

Compared to the other place she was in, there's no comparison for stuff. When I brought my mom in, her face just lit up because she thought she was in a five-star hotel. Mom says she really likes the food there. She is encouraged and taken down to engage in activities. I know that they are coming in and they're doing the best they can trying to take care of her. The training they have here is very good. The people who work there are always smiling, ready to help. She gets a lot better care there.

As a family, we appreciated everything that was done for my mother and how hard they tried. The care staff knew her name right away and they seemed to know what she needed. When things happened they were right there to fix it and say they would make it better the next time so they put in a lot of effort. My mom loved all the meals. They had many great choices. I think they did almost everything perfect.

We thought it was very clean, the people were friendly and I thought the memory care program was the best we had seen. I think everything is really good, the aides are just awesome. The CNAs and med techs are awesome; they're loving people and a great staff. They're really good about keeping things clean. I think the activities good, they keep them engaged. I think the food is great. I feel like my mother is extremely safe living there.

I think the price is fair for what we get. The room is beautiful, so we're really happy. The management staff has been great. Walter helps me out by meeting with me and my dad. It's really good food. The service is good. They have a good schedule of activities. He goes on the outings. The housekeeping is really good. I haven't noticed any problem. They do his laundry without problems. The majority of the caretakers are really good too. We're very happy with it.

Comparing to other places, the value is fine. It's actually better than where we came from. They seem to keep my mom very busy and she is enjoying the activities. Every time I go there, everything looks nice. Everyone I have dealt with in healthcare has taken care of my mom very well. Everything has been positive for me.

I have been totally impressed with the management here. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I think the activities are pretty good. It's a very nice building. Very clean, very nice. Very friendly people here. I really enjoy the nursing. I'm really impressed with Curtis and his crew. They are some great people.

I think they're really nice people who are really trying. It's a new facility so there's a lot of learn-as-you-go. They're all very kind. I haven’t actually seen the activities but I get pictures of them so I think they're okay. The fact that I get feedback is encouraging. There are a couple of really sharp nurses and aides who will call us about things. I think they've been really good.

The design, the accessibility and the lighting are fantastic. Their communication is honest and prompt. You can tell that their humanity and their kindness is paramount. My aunt has a clean supply of clothes all the time. Every time I walk in at random, her apartment is clean. They have gone to the trouble to find out what food would be comfort food or what food she would be interested in as we transfer her to the new environment. It's very good food. My aunt has gone from not eating at the last place she was in and now she's eating 100% of all her meals. The activities are unique because this is just beyond coloring in a book or tossing a balloon. This is a concerted effort and an effective way back into using their brains in a way they haven't been in a while. I see my aunt talking in full sentences and asking for me and my mom which she wasn't doing before. She has mentioned that she enjoys riding in their van. The reason she is still alive, and the reason she's thriving is because of how quickly the caregivers have responded and how well they responded. Their professional training came through. That is where they excel. This place is a great value and this place is literally what has saved her life. I recommend it all the time. I tell my friends all the time. They're laying down education for family members. They're not just pulling it out of a hat; they're using well-documented, scientific based facts.
