The Sheridan at Tyler Creek

The activities look good and from what I have seen everyone seems to be having a good time. Joe who is the maintenance guy is great and very knowledgeable. In regards to the healthcare, the staff is good. They seem to be responsive to the call button. My mother hasn't had any issues.

Management is very easy to communicate with. They are willing to assist with any questions or concerns and they are very approachable. The dining servers in assisted living are very good and patient, and the staff in memory care does a good job helping my mom. They encourage her to eat. The staff here do an excellent job keeping the residents involved and engaged. Both my mom and dad thoroughly enjoy the weekly music programs that they have in the lobby. Their rooms are very good, and Dad has commented that he really likes his apartment. Things in the building always look nice, and the transportation is very helpful for my dad. The majority of the staff do an excellent job with caring for my parents and with meeting their needs. I do see them caring for my parents and there are things they do that are over and above their care level.

The management team is responsive whenever I want more information regarding my Mom. I know everything that goes on with her and in the community. Compared to other facilities, I believe this community was the best choice for us!

I am really appreciative that I found a place that understands how to care for people with memory issues. I want them to know the work they do is very much appreciated and noted. I think it is reasonably priced and he gets the services he needs. His room is very nice, clean and well maintained.

The front desk people are really lovely and kind and cheerful. It is a nice place to be. The food is great. My dad loves it there. They always have good choices and two main meal choices with other options. It is presented very nicely. The dining room is very well set up and clean. All the people that work in the dining room are very nice. The chef is always great. They are hardworking and caring. It seems like everyone that lives there is very happy. The place is awesome and my dad loves being there.

My parents live at The Sheridan at Tyler Creek and while we did some comparison shopping, I feel that it's incomparable to the other places we have checked out because The Sheridan is a beautiful community. The staff are all very kind and they're all interested in doing things such as being responsive, so I truly appreciate the staff because they're kind, genuine and they're there for the right reasons, which is to provide excellent care. They have a variety of activities going on and the staff is genuinely interested for the residents. In terms of the dining experience, it seems that the selection, for my parents, is good and the service makes sure they have what they need, so it's been an excellent experience. Overall, they're safe, comfortable and the staff keeps things clean, so my parents are happy there.

I don't have any complaints about any of them over there. My sister thinks the food is marvelous. Everyone I talk to says 'that it is the place with the good food'. The transportation is marvelous. The driver that takes them is absolutely wonderful. Overall, the care givers are all so nice. John and Dan walk with her and I really appreciate that. Bobby I can count on to do anything. He is right there to assist. And so is Siris. Lorena couldn't be nicer.

My mom has been in other communities, but with the range of services, quality of apartment and caring of most of the people in The Sheridan at Tyler Creek, it's really a wonderful place and I couldn't have a better community for her. Housekeeping does a great job, laundry is done every week and there is such a range of activities available for the residents, so they really do try to accommodate everyone. They're staffed and have a Happy Hour, so they do a wonderful job with the activities. The food is well prepared, nutritious and even the presentation is nice.

The value is very good compared to other facilities we looked at. They were more expensive and the care and quality were comparable. The management was very responsive and helping to us both moving in and out. I thought everyone was professional, courteous and gentle. They were very attentive to mom’s needs. We were very pleased with the care she got there. They were responsive to everything. They were consistent in getting her the meds, getting her dressed, she felt well cared for there. The activities were fine and she had a good time with those. I think they were very good. She likes to color a lot and she liked handy crafts. The housekeeping was very good. It was very consistent and always very thoroughly cleaned.

When we compared at-home care versus living in a community, it was more economical to go there, plus the options of activities for mom, it is a good value. I think the activities are good, I get the updates on my open with the app that tells me what she attends. According to that she attends a lot of stuff. The care is fine. I've been with her a few times when she has pushed her call button and they respond quickly. I'm usually there twice a week and her apartment looks nice and clean. Laundry is going good. The building is always clean and tidy, and it smells nice. Mom is safe and comfortable there, it’s a good fit.
