Sunflower Gardens

They are handling the Covid 19 as best as they can. There are no reported cases there and I feel confident that it is going to stay that way. Nobody really knows with this virus. I am glad they locked everybody down even before other places did. I appreciate that and thought it was good forethought. It seems like they have everything to do in activities. I can tell they have experience. Also, the outside gardens are beautiful and everything is painted and spiffy. The care staff is on top of everything and are excellent!

The staff at the community is very friendly. They always greet you with a cheerful smile. I feel she is safe and comfortable and that means a lot to us.

The nurse, Julia, and the doctor,were evaluating my mother yesterday because she was having some upper respiratory coughing. The nurse detected it, and now she is all clear. They have meetings with residents and their families. The building seems to be well maintained. They are doing some type of activity every day inside the facility. The housekeeping services seem good. The laundry is done on a routine manner. My mother likes the food, and they have a good variety from what I have seen. They cater to different needs. The value is good. I haven't seen any issues.

Management has been great about getting back to me and being knowledgeable. My mom's room is always clean, her bed is always made, her bathroom is clean, and her clothes are hung up. The caregivers follow protocol and communicate well with us. She fell down on Sunday, and they called me right away to let me know what was going on. My mom has been in two other communities, and we were paying $2,200 more than we are paying now, and she wasn't getting near the amount of care as she is getting here. She has been here for three and a half weeks, and it has been going very well. It is a huge change from where she was at, and it is very refreshing. I am so thankful everytime I go in here.

Management is very attentive and ready to respond to everything. The food is very good, and the meals are very well balanced. The activities are perfect. They have outside activitites. He's been to the museum, zoo, and the flower fields. They take them to church at least once a month, and they take them out to lunch, so it's wonderful. There are always caregivers that go on the bus. There is always someone wiping, mopping and cleaning, and you never see anything dirty. The healthcare staff does a wonderful job. They're very kind to the residents. I'm very pleased with my husband being there. I couldn't be happier. He's getting the meals and the care that I want. He's had such a wonderful recovery. I'm so appreciative of the care he's getting there.

Everyone has been great to my mom and to me. Food is nutritional, tasty, and looks good. I love the chef. The activities are entertaining for her. Housekeeping does a great job. The maintenance guy is great and does everything you need him to do. I looked around, and it's really a good deal there. It's a great value.

Management communicates very well. The Nurse provides very detailed information. If there's an issue, they are very kind to let me know. It's very well handled and very comforting for family members. She is very satisfied with the dining menu. She has begun joining in the outdoor, off campus activities. Housekeeping is excellent. They keep it clean and neat, and when there are celebrations, they decorate. The value is very good.

The chef is doing a good job, and the meals are well rounded. I know that someone will take her to a doctor's appointment when she needs to go, there always seems to be someone available to take her when she needs to go. They're always very good at helping to get her medication and letting us know of things going on with her.

Everybody here is awesome and we love it here. The dining is very good and they have worked with me on his diet which has been awesome. His room, and the entire place, are kept very clean.

Dad’s been there six months so far and the quality of care is excellent. The building is always clean and well maintained. My dad really likes the food and he really enjoys the outings and the crafting activities. He says the housekeepers are always good at cleaning up his room and they do the laundry as often as he needs. The care staff is amazing. I feel they really try to work with my dad and take of issues when they come up. They're very helpful and always responsive. They answer my questions and I really feel they advocate for my dad. It has a great experience.
